I see there are many people doing this. Scraping Amazon description and posting to Facebook notes with affiliate links and buy buttons. And they also seem to rank quite well. Even outranking my unique content. So i don't doubt they make nice money with it since they are doing it on massive scale. I also noticed that some of those get like 10+ posting per minute so i really doubt they do them manually. Any ideas how they do that? And isn't against Amazon TOS to spam internet like this?

Here are some examples (just add facebook dot com before)
Code:

I'm creating a zennoposter script for this right now... mine has a little bit of a twist to it though. I don't know of any script available that does it. Facebook used to have a RSS -> Notes function which would have made it a breeze but it seems they've discontinued it.

I've browsed the Amazon affiliate forums and it seems fine. Their TOS mentions facebook but only that you can't create facebook fan pages with Amazon trademarked names in them, so it seems like they see fan pages as the same as domains.

There are a few other equations you need to consider. You can use this trick very well right now with the right tools.

You can add most html to the body and have your keyword as title, but each image needs to be hosted at fbcdn.net so you will have to share any images you wish to use, or post them on a profile and grab the image URL link and use that.

Also there is an Activeden software for fanpages that will do this I believe, no javascript but any html will work.

You used to be able to share an animated .gif by disguising it as a .jpg but FB has been cracking down and the latest technique using uiserver.php aren't even working for me the past day or so. Most other images need to be uploaded before using.

Use a bot that uploads all the images you will be using to a profile and snag their location to do this on a wide scale.

Hi LBrown

Will you be selling this script? I am very much interested in buying something like this.

Thanks

OK Have the script now for an example you can use, you need to switch out the amazon info all for your own items as well so send me a PM and you can have it for free.

Edit: Here this should be a good one to use.

Just make the note topic your keyword and paste the html in the note body.

I've played around with XSS vectors here before and havent had any quick luck, I will check it out further and see if any iframing is possible.

Hi

Thanks but this is not same as what OP is saying, this script just creates widget. These kind of pages don't get indexed in Google. Also there is not much product description with this script.

If you check one of the page from OP's post then you will see the difference.

Thanks

Here I will send you some exactly like that, you will just have to modify it all for your specific seperate items.

@ blackjack, no, I'm not planning to sell mine. With zenno scripts you have to have zenno to run them anyway.

The astore script is a good start but not exactly what we're talking about. But with the descriptions you can only scrape as much as Amazon provides. Sometimes that means a 2 sentence description and sometimes it will be 1000+ words. I've found way more short descriptions than long ones.

Here I will send you some exactly like that, you will just have to modify it all for your specific seperate items.

Can you send that to me too? I'm getting stuck on the RegEx for the product description and maybe seeing what you've done will help me with that.
