It might be hard to understand for you, but this is how software behaves, a bug doesn't always occur on every system/configuration, that is considered basic knowledge in the software world, but i guess that goes a bit beyond your knowledge...keep blasting!

Believe me, I know how different automation software behaves. ;)

And you are definitely right about bugs not occurring on every/system and configuration being common knowledge...This is one reason why your thread seems so bogus.

It sounds like your bugs are unique to your system and configuration which means that you are the problem, not the software.

Posting threads with titles like "Massive Warning!", making accusations that the software will massively damage your site if you use it, that the SJ team is mistreating you because you reported the bug to them...all of this is massively deceptive and actually borderline slander.

The fact that the software bugs out on certain systems, doesn't make a bug any less of a bug.

You still seem to have no idea what this thread is about, what happened and what didn't happen.

Like i said, forget about it, if people read 3 out of 10 sentences, this isn't getting anywhere.

Thank you for your "bug report" it's much appreciated, if anyone else encounters it or can show the steps to replicate it besides yourself rest assured an update will be released the same day, most likely within the hour.

It's not exactly hard to reproduce, start a project, pick the option for anchors: use keywords, create a whole bunch of bls, and check them all...

Tested on 3 different systems, 2 different people, it doesn't seem that much of a "rare" bug.

Why would you wait for many people to report a bug? Most people DON'T check the links the software has created, so they will never find out, and will never report it, it's that simple.

I personally don't know any software developers that don't jump on bugreports like a fly on a fresh poo, you have a very weird way of dealing with these issues, no offense.

Disabling my license was clearly an incredibly childish act as well, completely uncalled for, no idea why you are trying to make me look like the bad guy here, it's clearly the other way around.

Again, a very "interesting" way of doing bussines.

I did, the moment i heard about this "bug" i spent a considerable amount of time trying to replicate it and could not. Lets be realistic now, how long do you think all other users should wait getting their support/licenses etc dealt with, and new features in the tools delayed while resources are spent investigating this supposed bug?

As i said, it can be fixed within hours but until then it's pretty hard to fix what can't even be found.
 
Maybe it is some kind of virus. Why not use a virus scanner to check your pc or laptop. May it's a conspiracy. :D

The fact that the developer(Sweetfunny) responded and tried to replicate the problem but can't...

Happens to me once with TBS, where everyone's TBS is working and it's the only application that is not working on my PC :D

Was that a bug? No!

Probably OP has the same situation here...

I suggest, OP should try it on a different PC or with a virtual machine, instead.

3 machines used, with someone else confirming this bug, my system runs fine with:
xrumer, senuke, scrapebox, NHSEO, GSA SE Ranker, only scrapejet fails.
What is so hard to understand?

The developers just don't care, someone who cared one bit would have requested a simple 5 min teamviewer session, confirmed it and try and see what was going on, scrapejet developers decided to lock my license instead, so i'm done with them ;)

They are not intelligent enough to see that this thread will do them far more damage, unfortunately.

Are u sure you saved the profile with the "use keywords" checked? And NOT resuming a profile without that option checked?

Never ran into this "bug" either.

You keep saying things like "forget about it" but then you continue to post in this thread. Free advice - borrowed from Gary B's post - let it go, you are making yourself look like more of a douche with each post.

Yukinari84, BTB, and SF are among the most helpful and knowledgeable people around here. And you've insulted them and ignored their advice.
 
Confirming this thread is actually more likely to make me purchase SJ just because of how they are handling the OP.....

Though that's probably much to the chagrin of the OP.....
 
Just by reading SweetFunny's posts I can tell that the support is fantastic for Scrapejet. It makes me think that the bugs will be worked out quick enough.

SJ is a massively important tool for me.
I scrape with SB and post to the hard to get sites with SJ becasue it doesn't suffer from certificate and security popup interruptions that SB does on slow poster.

Sweetfunny and the rest of the "scrape" team have been on the ball with me for years. They are more likely to fix problems and add features before you even know about it than ignore issues.

I don't undertsand why Dutch trafficsrvice is geting bashed here? He pointing out a bug, right? I would be very disappointed if I get this bug after purchasing scrapejet.

Feck me - It's a bug that we all have tried to replicate - and no-one has managed to find it.
This guy won't provide any evidence either (there is a log file you can check and it will be created - why won't he upload for the devs to look at)?

SF has looked for the problem and can't find it
All the main application users have no issue with it..... but the real issue here is the guy with the complaint not helping at all.

The guy WITH the problem won't provide the evidence - even when there is a button on the application to create a frigging log file - why won't he do it?

Then he talks like it's a conspiracy?

You can't help people who won't help themselves.

I have contacted Scrapebox/Scrapejet developers a couple of times, reporting bugs with Scrapebox. They are the most positive bunch of people I have ever met, and I can only imagine what you did to anger them to the point of locking your license.
