ScrapeJet sucks, don't buy it

I'm sorry but where in the manual does it state anything like I wouldn't be updating it? I have been updating to add new functions very often. Even 8 months after release I am still adding and improving it. I don't mind people stating their opinion about NHSEO (even when it is normally the users issue not an issue with the tool) but to claim something like this is so far off the mark.

Have you seen the post comparing NHSEO, SJ and GSA's version? If you missed it NHSEO generated over 70% more links than the closest competitor!!

NHSEO is always under development and this is not due to end any time soon. There have been over 50 updates since July last year (with plenty before that) which have improved the feature-set, supported platforms, multi-threading, general UI and improved speed.

NHSEO definitely is still being improved in a big way.

So is there any discount for a bhw?
Because I got the link in the mail from them offering $47 price to the general public...

This is a really old thread.

Rushdie... u are so true with your thread wording... SJ Sucks.. though u have intelligently brought ppl to convince to buy it. but in real ScrapeJet really sucks. i bought it delightly if it could help me to boost my websites SERP... to be very honest to the worst night mare of my whole backlinking carrier... it Sucks... to my surprise i bought it and since i have been running the task for only one keyword and choosen only wordpress blogs. it has been running on different intervals and in total it is almost 46 hours since i started the task and i can only see 196 backlinks has been confirmed yet. i'm sure even these backlinks data is only indexed links which even dont point to our anchor text. i ran my last task for 9 hours continously and there wasnt any change in backlinks. the worst thing is we never know.. where SJ is posting and what results it is producing. to be very honest everyone has right to advocate something but it should have some basis. for me until now i'm totally disappointed with this tool. i believe SJ will produce the results in 10 years what SB do in 30 minutes and still we know what we are doing with SB.

You definitely do something wrong. You should have contacted support immediately. Could be something so simple, like OBL or PR set wrong, bad proxies, timeouts, but without your cooperation, there's no way to help.

Also, if somebody does not know how to use a tool, or something is not right (like in your case), that does not mean the tool is bad... just to be fair.

it smell like instead of taking the cirticism from the ppl who have bought them. u have started back firing on them i'm not here to bash on anyone but i'm trying to explain what i've exeprianced. we have paid money for the claims the developers made and for sure we trust on the ppl those have been involved in developing the SB as i personally have been using it and still i love it.
at first the developers calims this is the most simple tool for any noob. no complexed settings and tunning. everything is on auto pilot. i still feel what else could be missing from my side being which i'm still unable to understad this tool. there are few options and any experianced back linker get to know them easily. unfortunatly i cant attach screen shots i've taken from the last SJ session as there is some problem i seem while uploading with my message.
i could say it a crap jet as u used the lang for me instead of facing the negative remarks from the users and taking them positively to improve your tool.

btw i will describe my settings here which i made while i started my task.
Key word: one only
URL: one only
connections: High
time out: High
Auto Harvest proxies: it took atleast 45 minutes first i started the task nd on each resumption of task it again take atleast 10-15 minutes
Platform: wordpress
Use badword list: no
Use blacklist: no
set the time span url harvest to: Anytime
Alternate google domain and lans: Default
Enable safe check: unchecked
Enable intelli profiles: checked

for ur kind information i'm using Core i5 2.4 GHz - 4 GB Ram with a 30MB internet connetion...

This IS NOT a support thread, and nobody from the dev team can give support here in this thread, assuming the mods would not like it.
Whats wrong telling you to contact support, so we can give you support right away?
Anyway, you can also PM me. I will take a look at your settings you posted here.

wow.. wow... wow... finally i ckecked what exactally SJ has done with my keywords and what links i got.. to my surprise... i got 120 links out of 196 from all x-rated and porn related websites. all of the links are on static websites though i had selected wordpress.. so these r infect indexed to the static website which we use to do with SB as well.. so infect SJ is only an indexed tool and it point any url to only static website which have been saved in sj database and we have no control over it. if this is the case there have been free tools available who do the same operations and finally SB is still a powerfull tool do it. moreover we atleast know where we r indexing our websites while doing it with SB. paying 47$ for indexing our url to static websites are like giving charity to bill gates for his false claims.

Like mentioned before look at it what it is. You're only going to get HIGH OBL crappy quality links that are good to shoot at tier 2/3 sites. If you want an automated tool to do that this is the one.

No doubt the Wordpress/Blogger plugins are interesting and can be useful and I'm sure more things will come in the future that will expand it greatly, but until then, it is what it is.

Would be nice to see if it could generate comment lists like PR3+ with xyz OBL and just to build the list so you can manually comment on them later. I feel like that'd be more useful than what it does now.

i tried it out, found it did not have the main features of big daddy scrapebox... :-(

Was about to buy it until I found this thread a lot of negativity about SJ so I won't waste my cash on it.

No, not true. You are doing definitely something wrong.
I asked you to contact support, because this is not a support thread here, so we can address your issues, but you dont... instead, you keep on complaining here.

Again, I ask yo to please contact our support, so we can help you.
You can also email me the scrapejet.sil file, found in the configuration folder, which I would prefer to get as soon as possible AFTER you did a "bad" run.

I don't get it, is it a dumbed down Scrapebox?

Read the users guide item #6 http://www.scrapejet.com/edit-profiles you can enable/disable the indexer, and the indexer sites are stored in the Configuration folder in plain text. You have 100% control over it, if you read the users guide.

Read the instructions item #1 and #3 http://www.scrapejet.com/edit-profiles you have full control over the PR and OBL settings, plus there is a word blacklist and url blacklist to control exactly what sites your link is dropped on.

1) I can choose keywords to search
2) I can choose keywords for my anchors
3) I can choose URLs

ScrapeJet uses only names or keywords for anchor text (not keywords for searching blogs) which makes SJ useless for other languages then English.

E.g. I want to find websites about gold but want to use anchor text 'oro' which means 'gold' in Spanish. This means I want to use GOLD for searching related blogs but ORO for my anchor texts.

I think this is the biggest skip on ScrapeJet programming.

I don't want to mention that I wasn't able to post more than 2-3 links after 4-5 h. I use private proxies and I checked the settings 100X. While No Hands SEO works normally and Scrapebox works like hell, ScrapeJet is just spining in circles with some artificial delay and checking proxies.

This is my experience and I am about to request refund for this unless I get some normal response from support, which is not so fast.

Well all 3 of your points are simply not true at all. That was updated in like version 2, a looooooong time ago. Look at the change log:

So you might at least want to read before you complain and ask for a refund. I mean your shooting your self in the foot. If you can't take the time to read a change log or watch some videos on a tool before you ask for a refund, your never going to succeed huge in SEO, the tool is powerful and has tons of options and you don't know how to even use it and the options are printed in multiple places. You got to help yourself before you expect someone else to help you.



Anyway, it works great for any language, because of the great options. Also your comparing to NHSEO, NHSEO only uses wordpress (At least last time I checked and I bought a copy of it) and SJ uses multiple platforms in alphabetical order. So Wordpress has the most market share, so you will get the most links the fastest. So if you want to compare, then go into settings and uncheck all the platforms except wordpress. Then run it, it will make links faster on wordpress then the other platforms because there are more urls to post to on wordpress. Got to compare apples to apples and not compare apples to oranges.
