Well I bought it a while ago and still have not gotten any updates. When I load NHSEO, I do not see any upgrade or update.

What version are you running? I think the most current version is 1.7.0.0 which just released about a week ago. I bought it about 3 weeks ago and it's had 2 updates and I hear more soon. Just check out the NHSEO forum, all the updates, requests, issues, etc. are all handled there very well...
 
I just bought the software and realized it does not work with Chinese keywords...

Updates are mentioned in the header bar, there is an update button on there whenever a new version is released the button will become availabel adn you just need to click that and follow the instructions.

The tool gets me 20-60 live links per night. Is it ok or too small?

Definitely not enough. Something isn't setup properly. You should contact support. 60 live links should not take more than 5-10 minutes.
 
I'm not sure what's going on but here are a few problems I ran into:

1. Chinese keywords. It took the keywords in the profile. Then when I start it up, it doesn't do anything. Kind of strange but then I thought maybe it doesn't support foreign characters. Fine. Let me try English keywords.

2. I setup a profile with English keywords, start and it started to harvest proxy and working. So far so good, after a few hours it posted a few hundreds times and says there are 100 or so backlinks. Then it just stopped on its own. I'm not sure why it stopped, because the main program didn't crash, it's just no longer running. I started again and it seems to run again but after I got back from work it stopped again. Not sure what went wrong but that's what I have observed.

Also I'm not sure if the backlink count means they are the confirmed backlinks. If yes how can I see what links they really are.

Another draw back is, once you start the program, you can not add new profiles. Everything is locked down.

Frankly so far my experience hasn't been great for the issues I ran into.

We will investigate your Chinese keywords.

It stops when it completed its job, which means, it used all your keywords, harvested all possible targets and posted to all possible targets. Maybe you have only 1 definition file selected in the settings.

The backlink counter shows confirmed backlinks. You can find them in the backlinks folder.

You mean, adding profiles when its running? Why you run it and then want to add profiles? Add them all and set it up you want, then run it.

I assume you bought it because you want to use it, and not because you just want to post about it, so I suggest, you contact support, to get help regarding your issues, to get you up and running as quick as possible.
 
I'm having issues wit confirmed backlinks. I have a boatload of submitted but the confirmed are in low numbers. Not sure what's going on here.

What definition file do you have enabled?

Maybe you have used a keyword which returns lots of spam protected (captcha for example) blogs.

Or you have PR or OBL filter set. Hard to say...

Can you contact support and forward the scrapejet.sil file to support?
You can find it in the configuration folder, after you do a run with lots of submitted, but low backlinks count.
This would help to analyze your issue.

Ha :) contacted them right away and they told me everything is just fine with this number!

Probably the trick is where you mean "successful submits" and I mean actually live links? Hmmmm....

No, I meant backlinks, not submitted comments.
The backlink counter shows how many links are live, the "submitted" counter shows to how many site ScrapeJet could submit the comment.

Hi softtouch2009. Still, no matter what I do with settings, I get at most 10 live links out of 3500 "successful submits'.

BTW, are you a member of SJ/SB team?
