Scrapebox won't let me register

Hey all, long time member - posting, not so much.

I have a need for Scrapebox and made a legitimate purchase of the software recently. To make a long story short, I have wanted to purchase it for a while, so I finally made the plunge. When I purchased it, I did not read all of the sales copy and failed to read the part where you have to use the same email address to register as you use for Paypal. So I paid for it, then tried to register it using a different email address.

Well, apparently SB didn't like that and they rejected my activation and refunded the money to Paypal. I waited almost a week and purchased again, and this time they refunded the money immediately and they won't even answer emails to me or anything. I am very perplexed by this and would like to use the software for scraping urls. And don't get me wrong - I am grateful that they refunded the money, but that isn't what I want. I want to become a legitimate user of the software.

I installed Gscraper but don't want to subscribe to their proxy service and would rather scrape them on Scrapebox.

Is there any way to get around this? I mean, I am a legitimate buyer and customer but they don't even want to deal with me because I failed to put in the correct email? What kind of a company does that?

Any ideas?

Scrapebox support was a lot nicer 2 years back. in 2013 I asked to move my license after having lost my paypal transaction ID and losing my email account to some google jerk policy. Result ? two years ago they let me move my license (without telling me what my transaction ID is), now they do not.

Apparently, due to the upgrade to version 2.0 they want to make a little bit of cash, so they do not let you upgrade or move your license and are anal in general. They pointed to some terms and conditions which did not apply to me at the time of purchase. Long story short: a couple of jerks have taken over customer support. You are much better off with GSA.

My experience in recent times:

I have lost 3 hard disks in about 6 months, and had to do multiple re-installations (almost every month) of the OS due to various reasons like serious hard disk/drive/OS crashing, after new hard disks installations, etc. Every time (like every month since then) I had to reinstall Sb and had to request it through the software. Each time I received their help very promptly. So I'm completely happy with their service.

P.S.:
Seems like you're facing real bad luck . Paypal, GMail, and this... Hmm... some voodoo.s attack going on (similar to a DDOS attack but targeting the humans instead)? (jk)
