Xrumer's primary focus is on profile backlinks from forums, etc.
Scrapebox is mostly comments on websites, etc.

Also if you're looking to purchase one remember that XRumer currently cost about $500 more and it's not for the faint of heart.

Xrumer can create accounts on profiles and put links on them as well as post to them.
Scrapebox is mostly comments
but for shear suport - regular updates
and price - scrapebox for me wins hands
down. but both tools serve there own purpose
