Really don't want to sound harsh here, but if you don't understand the differences between the two, and why the two aren't comparable, you probably shouldn't be looking into getting any of them at this time, but that's just my opinion. They both do very different things, and which one you choose to go for will depend on what your goals are.
Both of these tools are great, but both are potential monsters. I have SB and have used SENuke, but haven't used SENuke 6+ months and cancelled my subscription. Not because I didn't like it - it was great at what it did, but (at the time at least) it modules didn't justify the subscription rate when there are tools out there that I have more control over AND do every module for a one off fee....
Frankly, even though there are cheaper tools that bookmark, boomarking isn't worth a bean anymore; the profile links went nofollow; there are numerous article directory submitters that do a brilliant job for a one off fee; and all the other social sites that are worth anything can easily be (and usually faster) set up with imacros/Roboform - not to mention there are loads of email confirmation tools out there. Doing it this way I can guarantee a near 100% success rate and tweak it just the way I want to, and as I say, I can do it as fast, or normally faster than SENuke.
You also need to factor in that there are decreasing returns on IP diversity with SENuke. So, unless you are planning to use SENuke every day, and/or have more than say, 15 sites/projects that are currently making you more than the subscription rate, and/or you are churning out several sites a month, it's probably not worth it. Unless of course, you are already making enough, in which case, you may as well get both.
ScrapeBox is a FANTASTIC tool. I don't want to get all 'ethical' here, but I feel these automation tools tend to mentally dehumanize and detach yourself from what it is you are actually doing. For the sake of black hat spamming longevity, which lets be honest, effects us all, you NEED to understand on more than a conceptual level that there is normally a human at the other end of this type of spam. This human has already been bombarded with copious amounts of shitty, idiotic spam, and their cynicism and anger has reached epic proportions. It's these humans that complain to platform makers, which in turn make these platforms nofollow/increasing spamming difficult, and ultimately make it all useless - I suspect that soon there will be a massive shortage of 'easy access' platforms that the masses will be able gain worthwhile (or even junk) links from. So, if you (or anyone) uses this tool, just be clever with your spam, think outside the box, learn to fake it well, and if a user (no insinuation to the OP) is just to lazy/stupid to camouflage their spam, then learn how to fly under the radar. Since SB came out, the majority of my blogs have been bombarded, and I'm seeing the shit a lot of users come out with; I can only shake my head in disbelief. 90% of the spam I get isn't even attempting to hide its spammy nature. Anyway, I'm going to get off my unintentional soapbox lol.
My general advice would be to identify what it is you wish to achieve with these tools and understand the differences between them. It's hard to advise what is ?best to buy? without knowing what it is you want to do.

They are both very different, and if you have the money, I would get both. Using them together is unbelievable.
With that said, while both these tools are great, the tools themselves won't make you money. If you are thinking that by buying tools you are going to become successful, then you are mistaken.
A tool is only as good as the person who uses it.
If you are not at the level to be able to handle these tools, I would recommend you improve your skills first, then buy.

After using SE Nuke for some time, I was somewhat suspicious of Scrape Box until I asked a few questions to the woman who runs it and was pretty shocked that she gave a great list of what it could and couldn't do. She also said about how you should go about using it for getting the results I was looking for.
That pretty much sold me on the product and the training videos are really good too and spoon feed you the info. so if you're new it's perfect for you.
They keep updating the software continuously and with the recent one over the past 24 hours, this one will easily surpass SE Nuke very soon. They've just included Catcha work arounds for commenting on sites and blogs since Word Press is very big on them now. The harvesting works amazingly and gets me the urls I want whereas so many times, other softwares have given me everything and the moon, but nothing that resembles what my keywords were.
If you're debating between the 2 softwares, I couldn't recommend Scrape Box highly enough and for $47, it's a steal deal for what you get. I mix this one with IBP and article submitter and the press release manual that was just posted over the weekend and my site has jumped up to a PR 5 in just 4 months and another brand new one is up to PR 3 now.

Using both the applications i got my TV site to page 2 in over a month with 66 Million competition and '301000' searches for that keyword!!! Did made a Link Wheel with continous ping and RSS submissions and all this worked like awesome for me!!

I would suggest you don't buy any of them at this moment. Read up some ebooks on SEO first then read the capability of Senuke and SB.

IMHO go for scrapebox first, if you make over $200 with that tool within a week buy SEnuke otherwise work until you achieve $200+ with it.
If you have both tools and still cannot make money, then you need to invest time into your skill and not money into tool.

Good luck with scrapebox but use it wisely. Use other link building methods too. Regarding senuke, wait until you have a bunch of sites to promote first or you are unlikely to get a good return of investment.

Ironic, eyashwant sent an email to me through ScrapeBox support about the same thing and after a few emails back and forwards here is a small snippet of what i told him before Yukinari and SunClusterz made their replies above:
A tool like ScrapeBox, SENuke, Xrumer etc are not like a slot machine where you push a button and money comes pouring out the bottom. You need to have a plan, a goal and a use for a tool otherwise it's like buying a hammer without wood or nails.
But anyhow, the OP went against my advice and bought it so.. I do hope he is able to utilize it to his advantage.

There are so many that hear all of the great things a tool can do and thing the cash will just start rolling in if the use it.
Not the case.
A powerful tool like Scrapebox in the hands of a person that doesn't know how to use it properly is like handing a kid a loaded gun. Something bad is bound to happen.
But if you put that tool in the hands of someone who does know how to use it, it's a deadly weapon.

Excellent analogy.
When I first started out, I bought automation tools before I had done all the tasks that those tools did, by hand. I love gadgets anyway, but I just assumed that I would make money if I could upscale with these tools - all I thought at the time was I needed links and throwing money at automated tools would solve that problem. In the long run, it made my learning curve that much steeper; I was trying to upscale from nothing. Some people do well throwing themselves in at the deep end, but I need to know every detail of what I'm doing (which in the long run makes for more effective marketing imo). I didn't just not have the 'wood and nails', I was trying to use that proverbial hammer before even taking it out of its wrapping lol.
I believe that, even though I had those tools, if I had started out trying to make money without the use of them, I would of got a clue a lot sooner than I did, and made my first commission sooner than I did. The moment I pulled my head out of the 'throwing money at automated tools for the sake of it and because everyone else is' mentality ? I earned more in 12 months than I had done working at an average paying office job for almost 10 years. Now I need (not least because of the nature of the internet and IM) those automated tools to sustain my business, but they have an actual purpose now.
If I were in the OP's position and was insistent upon buying an automated tool, then I would of gone with ScrapeBox as well. With a little bit of thought I'm sure the OP will do well with it, as it is fantastic tool indeed. Not least for the chess and music player
Now if only SweetFunny could add Scrabble and Pacman, I'd be in spamming hedonism lol
