yeah, and as VPS's are actually so cheap, considering 24/7 connection, it is actually worth getting one and you don't put your home connection at risk regarding traffic, etc.

Some ISP's might say you are using too much bandwidth? Some countries do this.

What's the lowest configuration you've run it on and how stable was it?
I can use a 233mhz (windows xp ) box for free, and was wondering if it's worth to try it on

Depends on what you plan to do with SB. The harvester for example you can run up to 4 instances on 1 GB RAM with no problems, and your bandwidth won't even take more than 30 MBPS. Other options like the link checker esp on bigger lists are more heavy on resources, as is the fast poster with a lot of connections and a big link list. An efficient choice is the XSS $35 plan for 1 gb of RAM.

Actually I'm using the same plan from XSS and I run 6 instances without problem Oh, and one of them is checking links on huge lists 24/7

just a quick question guys...is vps hard to set up? i have got no prior experience.i was planning to get scrapebox ..will i be better off running it from my pc ? will it run on a crappy connection like 2 mbps?

It will run for sure man. Just not as good as it would on a VPS.
VPS management is not hard for those who know things, but could be tough for a layman like me, or you.

Too much hasle... i'm gonna just try out my mini laptop It has almost the same specs as $35month VPS's and i dont need to log into my master PC to check out how it is going... just walk to livingroom and see

If that is true that xserver.eu indeed has only 5-10mbit bandwith connection, i have 8mbit so it would not make a difference... and ISP wont mess around here, they dont have power to shutdown someones internet cause they are using it.

Oh happy days

EDIT: i have private proxies so i'm not concerned that i would never got into fist fight with my ISP

8mbit ? thats insanely low. Was that on a 1Gbit connection ?
