So im a little confused. I leading IM has been posting reviews on the new version of scrapebox.
I have never used scrapebox as i got involved with IM at the end of its lifetime but my understanding was that it was a tool for scraping blog psts and posting comments?
Clearly im wrong on this as there would be no benefit it creating SB V2 ....

So if blog comment links are dead or have much less impact as they once did why build SB V2?

Can anyone tell me what im missing???

Scapebox is an all around good tool. I mostly use it to scrape urls to feed into GSA. But it has many other functions as well. Takes a little time to learn how to correctly use it but its worth the time. Some people also like Gscraper.

Scrapebox can best be described as "The Swiss Army Knife of Internet Marketing".

The big players still use it, for example

Scrapebox was popular with blog comments, because at a point they worked a treat and SB did them well and quick. But it now posts to over 32 different platforms and 2.0 adds a couple contact forms, you can grab emails, meta data, check for broken links, scan pages for content and qualify them. You can check for malware, you can check indexed, you can get pages indexed, you can scrape articles, spin them post them to blogger/wordpres/tumblr, you can track your rank in google/yahoo/bing, you can check to see if pages are still alive or dead.

You can:

Scrape 20+ engines
Scrape google images
Extract internal and external links from pages
Check out bound link counts
Get backlinks
Get moz rank/page authority
Scrape site maps
check social data
Check if vanity names can be register on popular 2.0 sites
check if domain names are available
scrape keywords

and best of all it has Chess built in as an addon! lol (it does actually)

but that names a very small portion of what you can use Scrapebox for. When blog comments were popular a lot of people stereo typed Scrapebox as a blog comment tool, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Scrapebox is not only for blog commenting but it has many other features like the ones "loopline" mentioned and SB V2 will have more new useful features.
