    I often like to use smaller lists of target URL's with ScrapeBox instead of running a huge amount at one time. The idea is to stay under the radar.

    I harvest a big list and 'Remove Duplicates' then export as 'master.txt' and place it into a folder that has the basic keywords as the folder name.

    BlueRedGreenWidgets <-----folder
    master.txt <----Big url list file

    I then place the following Vb script into the folder and run it (click it). This copies the big master file into many smaller files. You can set the number of URL's in each file by changing the 'urls' variable to whatever you want.

    To create the VBScript file:

    Copy-Paste into notepad and save with the following settings:

    Filename: split.vbs
    Save as Type: all files

    Code:
    Const ForReading = 1
    Dim filecounter, linecounter,urls

    '**********Set this Variable to the # of URLS you want in each file ********

    urls = 250

    '*****************************************************************

    Set oFSO = CreateObject("scripting.filesystemobject")
    Set oShell = CreateObject("Wscript.Shell")
    'Opens the input file
    Set oFileIn = oFSO.OpenTextFile("master.txt", ForReading)
    filecounter = 0
    linecounter = urls
    Do While Not oFileIn.AtEndOfStream
      If linecounter = urls Then
        filecounter = filecounter + 1
        linecounter = 0
        'Opens the next output file
        Set oFileOut = oFSO.CreateTextFile(filecounter & ".txt", True)
      End If
      linecounter = linecounter + 1
      oFileOut.Writeline oFileIn.ReadLine
    Loop

    Hope this makes sense!

    Thanks for that.

    I don't have much of a use for it right now but I imagine I will in the future.

    Cheers!

    Make sure your URL list is named "master.txt"

    Im using "filesplitter" which is free, easier to handle, and make the same job.

    You choose how many files the "big file" are gonna be..

    Simply as that.
