Scrapebox tip

I noticed alot of spammers use the name generator which comes with scrapebox. Its fine if your commenting on autoapprove but its so easy to spot spammers when they comment with the ridiculous names it generates. Today I have in my blog comments Marianela Willow, Marcie Cockrill, Ferdinand Wingstrom. They just look fake I bet they were made with scrapebox name generator. However its so tempting to use the name generator as its so easy.

Anyway this is a very simple and not very clever tip but I prefer to make my own name lists. The quickest easiest way to do this I found is to search for baby name websites. They usually have the top 100 names by year. If you cut and paste 10 years or so you get a nice list of 1000 names to use. Only takes about 2 minutes and is much better than the inbuilt function if you want to look genuine.

I have been using a mix of these names, name@ mywebsite and just keywords.

Also I have been using the domain name or a similar domain to the website I am getting links to in the scrapebox email generator rather than using gmail or yahoo to look more genuine too....not sure if this is a good idea though for askimet(?) anyhow it looks better for sure...

Anyway that's just my small little tip.

You're totally right about the names, I already did something similar some times ago : searched for a list of the 100 or so most popular first names and most popular names in the US. Mix 'em together and you have 10'000 better looking names. I like to add some random numbers too as I use gmail, yahoo and ymail as domain (and having your name @gmail.com when you have a name as popular as John Smith doesn't look guenuine)
Alternatively I also use only the first letter of the first name and append it to the name (ie : jsmith367 @yahoo )

That way I'll have adresses such as kyle.robertson46 @yahoo.com or elisa.nichols253 @gmail.com

just a thought
is there anyway to combine emails and names from the lists? so when you use name John you can use the email john@gmail etc? or does scrapebox always pick one random name and one random email from the lists?

Should we use peoples name or our keyword?

First off, love the user name WeBay. Just got done re-watching all seasons of The Wire. It's even better after you've seen it a couple times!

Now on to my question: When you say "names, name mywebsite and just keywords" are you simply using just the first name from the baby list or are you adding a last name to it?

yeah the wire is the best dont get me started!!!!!!!!!! also I used to sell full itme on eBay so it had to be done.
been using just the first name - think about it, would you bother writing your surname on a blog comment? however I have considered putting surnames in., shame you cant spin names.

Yeah, that makes sense. I always try to put the keyword in place for the name, but I know those get rejected 99% of the time. I'll start trying just the first name and see how it goes. Thanks again for the tip.

My method is different.
I scrape real names from facebook or orkut because google
already knows them.Email has no names .Just an activity like
[email protected]
