So I don't get it.... why everybody (or almost) think so much about having a bigger PR...

what are the advantages?

lol.. because people are noobs.

Think like this, pr is static. they update the toolbar once every 3-6months if not longer sometimes. A site that was loved 2months ago, might even give you negative link juice now.

And just because your site is pr 5, it don't have to be targeted to the specific keyword your whole site is seo'd for. It could even be fake pr..


The ONLY thing pr is good for, is when selling links.

Why PR is good for selling links if the PR is absolutely a not important seo unit? Maybe because noobs buy the links?
