Scrapebox SERP drop/recover

I basically used scrapebox to create about 30-40 backlinks for a domain about 1 month old. It had about 20-30 backlinks when I made the scrapebox ones. After this, my website dropped down the serp to the second page for my keyword and it hasn't recovered. It's been about 4 days. The keyword isn't even a highly competitive one. Previously I built about 10 backlinks with anchor text for the KW and I got to the first page before using scrapebox. Now I got 40 backlinks pointing to the money site with scrapebox and I even did ANOTHER blast pointing to my articles/profiles. Now after the drop, I recovered back to my original spot... but I haven't gained ANYTHING from the blasts I did.... is this normal?

I think I've already done the GOOGLE dance... but the thing is I just got back to my NORMAL spot.... no gain no loss... :/

any words of advice? there are only about 1 million competition web pages. This should be a piece of cake to overtake. Still the scrapebox didnt do anything to my ranking.
