Scrapebox rapid indexer!?!??

Okay, I've scoured the forums here and it seems like people use the

rapid indexer
rss ping

interchangeably, is there even a difference between these two functions? They both ping no?

both rapid indexer and rss ping are used for indexing purpose, the difference is rapid indexer use some method (just like my friend said) xss backlink.

and it would be

and for rss ping, it is used to register your website into the blog / rss / something directory so your website will be listed in their directory database. CMIIW
