Scrapebox Questions

I think I will get SB but there are some doubts I'm having and I thought it would be a good idea to ask first.
So what SB does is finds different blogs and sites that you are looking for example .edu, and posts comments (with desired anchor text) on them under different proxies? I know SB has many other utilities, but this would be the one i'm looking for. I just want to create good backlinks. So is this correct?
I've also read that SB finds forums, but what does it do on forums? It creates profiles and actually posts there?

EDIT: Can I just use it from the PC I do all the work from? Or I need a dedicated PC? Are proxies really needed?

I just bought it and playing with it for around 2 days. No it doesn't post on forum. You can just used it to easily scrape forums using custom footprint. Yes you can run it from the pc were you also work.

Overall I think it is a very powerful tool and recommended if you want to build backlinks, but something you need to know that maybe you are expecting with the tool, it's not a magical tool that will generate you hundreds of backlinks in just a click. If you want quality backlinks for your site you still need to work for it. SB will just help you but will not do all of that for you.

I know what you mean and im not looking for a magical tool, i've made 4k links manually lol
