No you don't need private proxies I have NEVER used them and I have 10 million+ successful entries and probably created 350,000+ backlinks with it.

So you post with public proxies that the scrapebox finds or do you get free proxies online then use them for posting to blogs.

I actually purchased 2 private proxies (from anonymous-proxies.net, I don't know why anyone did not mention them. They are excellent and the cheapest for less than 10 private proxies!) for scraping purposes (finding high PR relevant websites) because

    - it is SO much faster
    - I don't have to search and filter for public proxies everytime (which takes about 10 minutes everytime. And public proxies die by the hour. So in one day, I have to search for public proxies a few times, costing me time)
    - I want to scrape the best possible results (with public proxies, sometimes they die halfway during the scraping, resulting in a 90% scraping success rate)

No you do not need private proxies, my SB blasts do just fine using the public proxies given. Just harvest proxies religiously and you'll be fine.
