Hi BHW members

**Please move this to the correct section if this is not the place for talking about this**

I have been using Scrapebox for my websites since the past few weeks

I have a problem with the success rate

I am using 10 Private proxies and I am building blog comment links to web 2.0 pages which point to my main site

I tried finding blogs which auto approve a comment and give a backlink too

I used the methods which have been shared by BHW members already and always use the check links feature in scrapebox too

I created a list of around 3000 such blogs and checked the links on all of them using scrapebox

Now when I post comments using Scrapebox, I get different success rates at different times

Can somebody tell why does this happen?

Does the success rate depend on the net speed too?

Shouldn't I be getting 90-100% success rate if they auto approve and show the link found message when I check links

Am I doing something wrong?:confused:

thanks
Ankur

Yes it depends on the net speed also. Just do a scrapebox blast and then take out the failed ones and reblast it until you get all failed comments.

Hope this helps

Also you may have more luck posting in slow mode instead of fast. A lot of mine get skipped over if I do fast.

Slow mode takes a lot of time so I dont want to do it

Thanks for the suggestions buddy :):)

I've been messing around with scrapebox and to be honest you will have to do the same.

Each person's computer/internet connection etc is different, so you have to find a sweet spot with regards to the settings on your scrapebox.

For example, I use 15 private proxies and I used to do the max 270 connections for the fast poster, however the success rate was pretty low. So I pulled that all the way down to 50 and the success rate is much better (though it takes longer)

Also I maxed out the fast poster timeout speed to 90 seconds as well. Again this slowed down the process, but the success rate went up.

So you just have to mess with your settings until you find that sweet spot.

Oh and F&#& slow mode.

Thanks Jabong82

A few days back, I have also adjusted the following

Use 10 private proxies

Reduced the maximum connections to 25

Time out = 90 seconds

This has helped a lot

Are there some other settings too which can help?

thanks

Since you're blasting to AA blogs you don't need to use proxies at all if you've got connection with dynamic IP. You're blasting comments for your buffer sites so you don't have to worry about akismet ban. I don't use proxies on AA blogs and the success rate has increased a lot.

Thanks for the suggestion buddy but frankly speaking I cant even imagine not using proxies for scrapebox even if I am doing it on buffer sites and auto approve blogs :(

Moreover, how does not using proxies improve the success rate?

I was wondering why it takes several attempts to post on an AA too.

I have private proxies but prefer using public because I think I can turn the connections way up (250 connections with 400 public proxies vs 50 connections with 10 private proxies). The success rate might be 10-20% less, but the speed is many times faster so I'm still getting more successful hits in less time.

I've just decided to hit the same AA list each day with a list of about 100 sites that I want backlinked. It's random enough that I shouldn't have a lot redundant links from the same site pointing to any one url.

And, if I get about a 20% success rate on the AA list each day, hopefully it's random each time so I've eventually hitting all the blogs once every few days.

I do that with sites that I don't want to spam with too hard, like my money sites.

I build my AA list with all my web2.0 and junk domains. I'll try a 100k list, save all the successful, retry the failed, and then check for AA to save for my other list.

And I also agree that slow poster seems like a waste of time. The only benefit would be that fewer people are targeting those sites, so you get more link juice from them. I would save that for sites that need higher quality links.

May be sometimes proxies are slow?
