Scrapebox proxy tester

I have just bought Scrapebox and so far I really like the software, however, the proxy tester seems not to work correctly.

I have the "IP TEST" checked so it should remove all the transparent proxies and leave only the anonymous/elite ones. But whenever I check the saved proxies manually they all are transparent!
I've already contacted SB's support and they responded:

The IP test checks against our own privately maintained servers. I have not found any proxies that it lets pass thru that are transparent. Can you send me several example proxies that do this?

Is anyone else having the same problem? How comes SB marks the transparent proxies as good?
P.S. Harvesting proxies is fast and literally takes seconds to scrape.

doesnt matter to be honest if you only use
them to scrape.
might i also advise you goto options
and check mark use new proxy harvester
if your trying to post with public proxies
dont, success rate is low, buy 10 private proxies
ps alot of public proxies that pass the G test
are transparent ive known this 2 yrs so only
scrape with them and u will be fine
how do i no this, 500 users use proxys i scrape
for scrape box as a service i provide for url scraping

Oh well, it is still strange SB lets all the transparent proxies pass that easy.
Regarding scraping, wouldn't Google ban my IP if I scraped too much? I thought transparent proxies were useless.

another tip if u wanna test proxies faster try this

settings > adjust max connection > proxy harvester 60
settings > adjust timeout settings > proxy harvester time out 45
settings > adjust multi thread harvester > 2
options > use new proxy harvester > check mark it.

Ok, thank you for the tip but what's the point of setting the timeout to 45s? I only need high latency proxies <2s

everyone uses time out 45s thats standard

scrape with them and u will be fine
how do i no this, 500 users use proxys i scrape
for scrape box as a service i provide for url scraping

rule of thumb
10 private to post
public to scrape

the settings i gave make testing
fast and simple.

settings > adjust max connection > proxy harvester 60
settings > adjust timeout settings > proxy harvester time out 45
settings > adjust multi thread harvester > 2
options > use new proxy harvester > check mark it.

hunting public proxies u should get 3/500
if u use fresh urls to scrape from.

i generally get 1500+ because i compose
my proxies lists of half scraped giving me
about 500 google passes and about 1000 more
from port scanning ip ranges.

i have just checked 6000 proxies and only 26 came back as good. All the rest mostly are failing for "Error Timeout" issues. Any idea why?

Hey Jammo, about 1500 of the proxies where from your Anon 1 list from days this week. Any idea why they are failing so soon?

I also had been using 70 private proxies for the first 24 hours i played with SB and it all worked good, but then they all failed at once. Seems I blew through my allotted GB's of bandwidth way too quickly. Is there any tips to get more from less bandwidth? I really cant afford $50 bucks a day for bandwidth.

the proxies i post in the level 1/2 category lower down the
forum > something i do for free < i dont have to add them
i am only payed to post tested url scraping proxies for scrapebox
which i do every day.
the proxies u refer to from the level1 anonymous section arnt
part of my service - there a freebie for all scrapebox signups
i add them free of charge i dont have to.
no offence ment but it nags me when i add new proxies on my forum
that im not even payed to do and people complain how long they
last > i dont have to do them.

everyone who joins my service pays for this

all these extra proxies i add for free - you get me
if you get anything from them its a bonus

your taking your proxies for scrapbox from the wrong
part of the forum. the scrapebox proxie section is clearly
marked and labled - your going to the wrong category

thanks for the info. i didn't "get" the memo. Maybe you mentioned it when i signed up 18 month ago, but i signed up for the Anon lvl 1 proxies then. I didn't know they where "free". I am just now using SB so I will move on to the ones you have shown to use/. Again, thanks for the effort, I DO APPRECIATE IT! Your LVL 1 proxies have always worked good for my other needs.

i do tell all signups the main feature of my forum is the
scrapebox proxies > 500+ signups 0 refunds

all other proxies are done as a freebie for users signing
up to this service. users are told all proxies with the
exception of the scrapebox ones are only tested as working
live - with no tool status . means if u find something to work
them on its a bonus. in short > everything but the scrapebox
proxies > is a freebie

problem with enzo-seo resolved
the proxies work fine. just the
time he was taking them was upto
24hrs later. and no public proxie list
will last 24hrs. issue fixed
