Yes, it sucks. Tbh, as a SB user from day one, I virtually stopped using it all together. The constant scraping and scanning new proxies is not worth it anymore.
I also feel that the stability of the program itself suffered somewhere along the line. But that's beside your point.
Yes, I am having troubles with sb proxies, scraped and scanned a like.

Not sure what the issue is. Not really motivated to find out either tbh.

I am not even getting half of that anymore. Granted I stopped scanning and scraping since first week of januari.
Maybe my ranges got old, I dunno.
Anyway, sorry I can't help to find an explanation. Maybe I'll try and find a new range just to test the waters.

I'm not scanning proxies but rather I'm just testing a very reliable and hourly updated list, however I've also been getting way less google passed proxies since new years. Getting a little above 500 now from amounts of proxies which used to give me 1-2k google passed proxies.

well i took my ip ranges removed the ip ranges that are spitting out
what use to google passed but now only anonymous
so my ip range list for now is smaller = faster in faster out
less waste - 1.3k well better than 700

Id guess its that google is banning Ips faster or that the ranges that were yielding good proxies for you were found by someone who is scanning them and dumping them to the public and they are being destroyed extremely quickly.

From a pure scraping stand point my private proxies scrape no differently nor die no more often then they did before Christmas. Im still able to scrape millions of urls a week with scrapebox so nothing changed there. Id guess its as you note, its the ip ranges that changed, as in are no longer producing good proxies that are G passed.

The reason is IP rotation. The IPs you're scanning belong to the same ISP. They have a bank of about 2.5M IPs total. At any given time there's 4-5k online. Each day is a new batch of IPs so after a full year of this you start to repeat IPs as proxies. Meanwhile Google hasn't lifted whatever ban it is they have places on them. The times are estimates, I don't know how long Google bans the IPs for, and I'm not exactly sure how long it takes before the ISP starts to repeat the IPs, but I'd be almost willing to bet money that is the reason. I have a feeling I know what ranges you're scanning and if I'm right that'll be the cause.

I gotcha, yeah that's more than I was thinking. Good luck though, hope it picks back up for you.
