I have recently purchased scrapebox but am encountering many problems with the software. My intentions were to use auto blog commenting for blasting my tier 2 web 2.0 links, and use the harvester to find relavent high pr d0follow blogs to comment on.

I downloaded a few addons for the software such as the d0follow checker, blog analyzer and obl checker but it keeps giving me bs results. First i scrape 300+ keywords and then harvest a massive list of blogs. I then use the blog analyzer to filter out all the bad blogs. I then use the obl checker and find all the blogs with an obl of less than 50 but it seems that the obl checker is fake.

After filtering my list, I visited a few blogs to comment and realised that it still gave me results with huge obl... I also realised that the blogs it is returning are irrelavent and not related to my niche.

I also found that nearly all of the blogs don't allow me to comment on, and if they do it dissapears when i reload the page. My websites are aksimet banned so i don't use wordpress blogs but i can;t seem to find any good blogs to comment on. The software is just returning a load of bs and i've waisted countless hours trying to find decent blogs to comment on. Is something wrong with the software ?:S did i waste my money?

Before to come and ask this kind of question it will help you more if you start to read and learn how to use SB.

That been said please provide more details about your configuration, proxy etc.

Are you sure that all the results are blogs? For what have you harvest? Custom foot print? wordpress? blog engine?

SB do not harvest only blogs, SB harvest url result founded on G or yahoo or bing on aol related to the kw you use.

Blog analyzer is a waste of time, you will lose many good links if you run your list in blog analyzer.

The best way to test a list is fast post and then check links.

That have been said please be more specific and be sure that SB is not a waste of time if you know how to use it. I use it as my main seo tools with great result.

The results are blog engine blogs. As i stated i also use the obl checker to try and find low obl blogs but when i filter my results and get blogs with x amount of obl, i still somehow end up with loads of blogs with really high obl...

All the results which are returned are always irrelavent, high obl, nofollow blogs.

I am doing everything correctly. I harvest a load of blogs using my keywords to try and get niche related blogs. After i have harvested the blogs I then use the obl checker and find all blogs with 30 or under obl. After i have done this i check the pr of all the results and work my way down, starting from the highest pr.

After around 1 hour of wasted time, the only blogs i seem to come across are non niche related, high obl nofollow blogs which people have spammed using the auto blog commenter.

I am looking for low obl, high pr, ******** blogs but I can't seem to find any. Does keywords even matter with scrapebox? the results are never related.

It's almost as if the obl checker does not work, and scrapebox ignores the keywords :S

First of all you must understand that SB is a tools not a one push of a button program.

Even if you select blog engine n the harvester this does not mean that all the result will be blog engine.

It is impossible to check an website automatically and tell what is about in that url. When you select blog engine SB use aditional foot print, added to your kw so it may try to filter it out and try to let only blog engine but this is not for sure.

So no matter what you select in the harvester wordpress bogengine..etc wil not guarantee that all the harvested url are as the type you select. To find those you must test them.

I don't know what to say about the obl since I never test it, my result are not so exact but the obl are there for this I suggest to contact the support for more details. SB have a great support.

About the relevancy about the result you must understand that SB work exactly like you are.

Take a kw, search G, take down all the url, and give that to you. There is no way that SB check the page content when harvesting it only take the result provided by G. Now not all the result form G for a related kw are blog that are low obl and also auto approve. More you filter out the result more you reduce the change to find many result of what you need.

P.S. 300 kw are not so much, people harvest 2000 kw for a few good blogs.
P.S. Do you use private or public proxy for harvesting?

Yes I understand this, but seriously for the past 3 days I have been wasting countless hours attempting to comment on blogs which do not let me comment. Even after using 3,000 keywords the results which it returns are bs and I cannot comment on barely any of them.

I even tried filtering the URLS out so that it left me with urls that had a keyword related to my niche in. After going through all of the PR results, I could not comment on any of them.

It seems like the only blogs I can actually comment on are huge obl, nofollow bs which ppl use the auto blog commenter for.... I am looking for low obl, high pr, do follow but can't find any at all.

I used to get the same results by using Google advanced search before i purchased scrapebox and I thought scrapebox would be a bit better than using google advanced search but its actually the same, if not worse!

Can somebody give me a straight forward answer on how they find ********, niche related, high pr blogs to comment on because i can;t get a proper answer from anywhere.... do ppl even still use scrapebox?? :S .... seems like a load of sheit to me!

bump :( this remains a mystery? I have checked out a number of youtube videos about scrapebox and they all tell me the same thing.... harvest urls, check pr, filter ones without pr, check obl, filter ones with more than 40 obl and then use blog analyzer to filter out all the bad blogs... still gives me bs results with high obl :S
