Scrapebox problems! does anyone know how to fix this?

I have a problem with scrapebox that occurs whenever i do page rank check, post, link check, blog analyze and dofoolow check:

After i import about 200k urls and try to do any of the following: link check, page rank check, post or blog analyzer.....after a while i can not access any web page in my browser...any page that i try to load in browser appears blank and the space on my c: drive (windows instalation drive) gets pretty low. I am using window 7.

After this problem starts the only way i can fix it is by restarting windows.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how i can fix it. Is there any other way?

I think you might be doing too many urls at once. Import into harvester. Use export and split file, then re-import each file separately and run checks.

even if i do this, after it reaches a number of checks everything gets messed up

yep tried that,

what happens is, even if i split the files in batches of 20k or even 10k, if i do more than 5 batches my mozilla only shows a blank page and scrapebox is not working anymore also...it busts my connection somehow and i have to restart my notebook to get things rolling again...anyone has this problem?
 
Move the SB folder to other drive and try again. I guess your C drive is full

That's the deal, my sb is in drive D:, i have over 70 gb of memory there but it still seems to use the space in C:, as soon as i start the software my C: drive gets full.

Any ideea how to set it up to use the space in d:?

How much RAM you have? This could be because of high memory consumption. If there is no enough memory, system will use the page file for additional memory(RAM) which is available in your C drive. So your drive gets full.

I am running it currently on a machine with 1gb
 
Happened to me as well, but only once after I ran it (and gazillion other programs) for the whole day. Try lowering the number of connections - this should solve it.

BTW The 70 gb refers to your disk space, not memory. If the problem persists, then add more RAM if you can....

OK, 1GB is not too good, but my guess is that this is not a RAM issue - when you don't have sufficient RAM, then all your other programs will be affected as well and you'll see them slug, slow down, or fail to launch. Try lowering the number of connections as I said and see if it works.....

You can also check your memory usage in the Task Manager - open the Processes bar and see how much Scrapebox uses. I just checked it out and it uses roughly six times less than my browser (two windows open with three tabs each), so that's pretty good.
 
Try manually splitting the list in half or so.

Then load each into SB and split them up.

Dumb I know, but only thing I could think of.
 
I have the exact same problem.

I am running it on Win7 (32bit), and I am thinking of transferring it to a WinXP virtual machine to see if the same thing happens.

I am gonna contact scrapebox support when I get the time to see if they have any ideas.

I will subscribe to this thread, to see if a solution appears. If I happen to find a solution I will update here.
 
Maybe you reached the limit of the half open connections of Windows XP. There is anywhere a patch to increase the limit. Or you have bad proxies, which will not do the handshake properly and windows will run quickly out of available ports. Could have so many reason...
 
You can use this program - CleanMem . It releases your memory and you can schedule it to run in selected intervals of time - 10,20,30 minutes, etc.

I don't know if it will help you though.
