Select custom footprint in the radio buttons.

I have the same exact problem. No matter what footprint I use, 99% of the results are unrelated. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Try updating it. I am using 1.14.71 now.

Else, make a new copy. Run it, then see if it does the same. That should give you the default configs.

Thanks coreone, I did the update and now "intitle" works, but "allintitle" is not working. But oh well I can live with it...

Google didn't change it's results based on a ScrapeBox update to the proxy harvester i assure you.

The "allin" operators shouldn't be used in conjunction with with other footprints/queries. Example:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="powered+by+wordpress"+allintitle%3Acars

As you can see they don't have "cars" in the title. Your very first screenshot was perfect using just intitle: except you had Yahoo, Bing, AOL ticked when using the Google operator and that's where you irrelevant results came from.

• Thanks Thanks x 1

maybe you will put up a warning in your next update, saying don't choose 'allin' with other footprints.

Or maybe you could just learn to that people aren't going to hold your hand and hand you money..... I mean no offence, but did you at least read Googles own rules/functionality on google.com?

Straight from http://www.google.com/intl/gn/help/operators.html

allintitle: If you start a query with [allintitle:], Google will restrict the results to those with all of the query words in the title. For instance, [allintitle: google search] will return only documents that have both "google" and "search" in the title.
This functionality is also available through Advanced Search page, under Advanced Web Search > Occurrences.

So experiment, but sbox is a supercharged automated web browser, not demeaning scrapebox at all, but when it comes to harvesting its just doing the same basic function as if you opened firefox and did it yourself in google. (simplified explanation). So you have to abide by the same rules as if you were doing it manually. So to do that you have to understand how you would do it manually. Then I would suggest mastering it manually where you have granular control, then you will be able to translate that knowledge to sbox and do well. Else wise you are just wasting your time and taking stabs in the dark, which has really bad odds, probably worse then playing the lottery.

Spot on mate. I like the analogy. It makes me think about things from a little different angle, and its always good to re examin the basics.

There are at least me and another person who had the same issue. There are probably a lot more. But ok, whatever.

sweetfunny, is there anyway I can see the exact query being submitted to the SE's. That way, we can debug by running those queries on the browser.
