Scrapebox problem.. Help guys.. :(

I ran into similar problems nad with bit of help from members here i figured it out:

I am only running it on my computer but only in safe mode. I have windows 7 and i start in safe mode with networking.

For link checking and blog analyzer i never ever use proxies. Why cause there is nothing to ban?

For fast poster and everything else, i want to say it runs smooth as hell in safe mode. Try it, maybe it will work out this way for ya

I actually encountered tcpip problems while running it on my desktop. what happened was, my connections entered in fin_wait and close_wait and after running a lits of over 80k urls through sb, regardeless if i was doing fast poster, pr checking, blog analyzer or link checker, with or without proxies. Each time that happened, my ports got busted and when i opened my browser i could not load any page, al i got was a blank page and everything in sb went in timeout. To fix this i had to reboot my computer each time that happened.

I tried a tcpip patch and different solutions but none of them worked until someone suggested i should try it in safe mode with networking.

Funny as hell that this was the solution to my problem. I can run huge lists without having to reboot my machine which is very conveniant at this time.

Another solution would have been to reinstall windows, but with my spare time and the huge amount of softwares installed on my pc this won't happen any time soon.

Hey guys what i did was reformatted my vps and it worked like a charm, now again i m facing this problem. Getting disconnected, the test server connection becomes red. Whats the fu**** problem with this. I cant go on formatting it every 15 days lol. There should be some fix for this. As i m using vps i m not able to login in safe mode aswell.

This is frustrating like hell!!!

Windows 2008 R2 does not have a half open connecitons limit, older revisions can have the half-open connections. It could also be a firewall, my firewall has triggered after so many connections are reached as well.

When you do the server test it checks on port 80 for access to various servers (more or less). So if has red boxes for the access and auth tests but green for ping, the you have internet access, but scrapebox is being blocked. So thats going to be a firewall or anti/virus thats blocking access to the internet for scrapebox. Turn your gunz off and that will solve your problem. If it doesn't, just keep looking, as something is blocking it, you just have to find it.

So you reformatted the VPS, then installed scrapebox and it worked like a charm. Then you installed a bunch of other stuff and it stopped working. Which means something else you installed is blocking scrapebox.

Safe mode is pointless. Think it thru. If you run safe mode and it works, then its just because safe mode is not launching all the programs on your pc. Programs that are blocking scrapebox. So if it works in safe mode, but not on your regular start up, its because you have something else blocking it.

Make sense?

You just have to find what is blocking it. Aka, the problem isn't scrapebox, its something you have installed on your pc, and your going to have to figure it out and either uninstall it, or add allow rules to get it to play nicely with scrapebox.

Scrapebox is very powerful, but it creates a lot of simultaneous connections. Well so do malicious software. So something on your pc thing scrapebox is harmful, you just have to tell it otherwise.

I'm still having this exact problem in December 2011 and have tried all of the above fixes. I'm awaiting a response from ScrapeBox support but in the meantime I was hoping that you discovered a fix to your/our problem since you originally started this thread?

If so, could you please share what you found was causing the pain in the as$ glitch and how you fixed it.

I had a similar problem and my antivirus was blocking Scrapebox! Try disabling it for 1 hour and do some work and let us know!
