I have been using Scrapebox with 10 private proxies from yourprivateproxy and all of them have been ip blocked by Google during the harvesting stage.

I know this can be an issue with free proxies, but is it common with private ones? I can't find any other cases via the forum search function.

Does anyone know if yourprivateproxy will happily swap my 10 proxies for new ones?

I used to be with proxybonanza for my scrapebox-ing until they banned use of SB. It's now against the TOS of almost every private/elite proxy provider to use SB. If you're looking for a stable, alternate solution to proxy providers you might consider getting a cheap $20 VPS (preferably offshore), rent 10 IP's (the host I'm with charges $15 for 10 IPs), and setup a proxy server yourself (squid or tinyproxy, I prefer the latter).

Its slightly more than the $30 you're paying right now, but consider that you get additional functionality like hosting sites on your VPS or running your own mail server etc..., not to mention that you'll be absolutely certain no one else is using your IPs (i've seen private proxies being shared between more than one account). I know it sounds like a lot of pain, but i'm a control freak :D

If you're interested and would like some help with setting up secure, anonymous proxy servers just hit me up with a pm and i'll reply on the thread (if others can benefit from the info) or pm back if there's anything confidential.

This doesn't sound that easy? Am I correct? I like the concept though and would always consider it.
