I make a list and filter all domains with PR5+

I run the SAME list again where i know that each URL has PR, and i get a lot of PR N/A.

In fact, MOST URLs i scrape say PR N/A!!

I am using public proxies....what can i do to prevent this?

I am probably missing out 90% of good sites because i cannot get their PR!

You need to change your proxies. That's the only real way to improve the accuracy.

Proxies get banned on the PR lookup tool too, not just the harvester. I believe it's limited to 2000 PR lookups per hour, but am not sure if that's the correct number. And you can be sure that if you're using public proxies that someone else has used them before. That's why you sometimes get a real PR and the other time N/A. It means the IP is banned for a few hours.

I was wondering the same thing just a few minutes ago, so I did a google search, this came up first, nice :)

When I run a pr check I just run the N/A sites a couple of extra times to pick up the false readings. I usually get a PR on between 1/2 and 2/3 of the ones that did not have one the first time.

That might be because of any of these reasons:

- Proxies die out
- Connections are set to a higher value that what your broadband can handle.

I generally run PR check in batches of 2k each, and change proxies after each run. Also, make sure you uncheck the "Ignore Google" while testing proxies.
