Scrapebox posting - do using subdomains result in a lower success rate?

I'm mostly using the manual poster at the moment, and working with small high value lists of PR 4+ do-follow, often .edu URLs.

I heard somewhere that using a subdomain is more likely to get your comment put in the spam folder, regardless of how relevant the comment is. Can any Scrapebox experts please shed some light on this?

I have a couple of homepages that I could use, but my Squidoo lens are currently ranking better than them, and so I'd rather use their subdomain pages as my backlink, but given the effort involved in manual posting, don't want to waste my time!

Also, any other advice on how to avoid being automatically put in the spam folder would be appreciated. I am aware that Akismet detects public proxies, and use only private ones from the recommended YourPrivateProxies.com.

Thanks then.
