ScrapeBox - Posted 3k comments.. Only 4 approved!! :(

Hey all.

So, a few days ago, I got my hands on SB. I was so excited that I started using it ASAP.

I scraped search results for about 120 KWs and got nearly 44k URLs. After removing duplicates, I was left with 18k.

On verifying if they were alive or not, I got a list of 7.2k URLs. Then I used Blog Analyzer addon to filter out a list only WP blogs. And do, I was left with a list of ~4k working WP blogs that accept comments, have no spam filter or captcha.

Then I wrote spinned comments, such that even Google will find it difficult to raise an eye.

I started posting (obviously with proxies.).

I got ~3k Successful posted comments.

After 3 days:

I checked for my backlinks using the free link checker. And guess what, I had just 4 entries found. WTF!! All of them no-follow!! WTF!!

I spent nearly 4 hours for the complete process. And all I got was 4 no follow links from PR 0 URLs.

I mean, this is really a SH*T.

Please tell me what's wrong, where do I fall? What should I do? What should I avoid. All the SB official videos are using previous versions of it. So it's very difficult to learn from them.

It doesn't work for increasing EZA views (I bought it for the purpose only).

Please suggest something.

Here are some pointers :

  1. I usually write 20 different comments all SUPER SPINNED.
  2. I don't really check with blog analyzer, I scrape remove duplicates and comment
  3. I comment on approx 10K blogs per day
  4. Check links after 3-4 days
  5. 4 days of continuous SB blasting gave me a little over 4000 BLs
  6. Use paid proxies for higher results

Maybe you should just try to be more creative than the average BHW member?

Seriously tho, my guess would be the comments themselves. Did you spin them? did you use cheezy comments like "I like this blog. I will bookmark it. thanks"?

I don't know how to write long spinned comments so they look legitimate to the owner. I mean they cannot be specific to most of the content the posts have, Any insights?

Hey man, was just browsing through the internet looking for some information and came across your blog. I am impressed by the information that you have on this blog. It shows how well you understand this subject. Bookmarked this page, will come back for more. You, my friend, ROCK!!!

Write 20 such comments and spend some time spinning them as much as you can. I wrote them once and have been using them since then. Must have been around 30 days now. Got me over 10K backlinks to various sites :D
 
I don't understand why people worry about getting comments 'approved'! It mystifies me every time I see this.

There are thousands of auto-approve (un-moderated) blogs out there and ScrapeBox even has an add-on to detect auto-approve blogs.

You can write any comment you like and it will get posted to an un-moderated blog. Best bit is you can make the comment in context and relevant to your link.

Scrape your URLs and then run them through the BlogAnalyzer. Export the results into an Excel file, then copy all the 'un-moderated' blogs into a separate file. Load that new list into ScrapeBox and you are good to go.

It's easy to get 1000's of backlinks very quickly by doing this.
 
I have some proxies that I paid for. I am looking for someone who can do a good job posting SB links.

Thanks for this info. I have 2 questions when you get a minute.

1. How do I go about checking my backlinks 3-4 days later? What is the process you do?

2. Where did you purchase your piad proxies from? I'm still looking for a good resource.


BTW, I'm a newb at scrapebox and have not yet learned ALL the features but Im pretty comfortable with it. As far as proxies, I've just been using the ones that SB harvests. :/
 
Be creative, you can write comments that can work with any topic. Saying things like "I am glad I found your blog, it's very informative" is the wrong way to go, unless the blog owner is a jack-ass, comments like that are obviously spam.

You gotta remember that tons of blog owners dont even pay attention to the comments anyways. Especially if they don't have askimet installed, all they will have is a shit ton of spam that they won't bother going through. 3 days isn't nearly enough time for all your links to start showing up, I'm sure you'll get a few more.

get a couple kids who want to learn the biz to work for free a couple hours a week. use them as an "online street team" and have them hit up all the forums/blogs. you can also pay them in the form of ad space. autocommenters suck shit, and piss off your clientele.

Backlinks take more than 3 days to show up, especially if they are low pr

Not to mention the fact that if alot of blog owners decide to mark your comment as spam, akismet could pickup on it and block your url altogether, combine that with the low success rate of FREE proxies and potentially dead links.

Pretty sure Scrapebox cannot tell if a wordpress or movable type blog is moderated, it can only do so through blogengine and using the BE Moderated Post Filter. All blog analyser is good for is checking the types of blogs and if they are open or have captcha. a blog marked as open doesn't mean unmoderated. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Just for comparison, I posted to 3465 blogs two days ago using free proxies. This was the 3rd time I'd ever used the program.
Link Checker now claims that it has found 64 links. I have no idea if that's considered "good" by those more experienced with the program.

I used a very unique two sentence comment, spun nearly every word with 3-4 sensible alternates, included alternate sentence fragments (i.e. {|, and also blah,}), and I did not include a link within the comment itself; instead I got creative with finding ways to include my anchor text within the name.

BTW, this was for an adult site, and had an adult term in the name/anchor text, albeit one which is not considered too offensive or blatant. I suspect that if I had posted for something more mainstream, I may have had a higher success rate.

Yes, I'm using BlogAnalyzer. But where does it tell if blog is un moderated? It just tells type, open, spam prot, and captcha!

This post made me go check one of my sites. Its a site for my computer repair business and a week ago I did a scrapebox blast and had about 300 verified links. I check my site and wow yahoo site explorer is showing 282 backlinks. 10 are forum profiles and the rest are blog comments including some .edu ones which amazes me. The comments are still up!

I harvested all blogs talking about anti-virus software and posted recommending everyone to upgrade to microsoft security essentials. this is related to my business but also a helpful non-spam method. Not meant to get traffic but meant to get backlinks.

scrapebox success seems to be harvest good sites and post relevant comments if possible. And I was able to do this without using the manual poster.

If your comments are targeted to something specific like virus software you can make 20-50 generic but relevant comments and have great success with autoposting.

a question:

what is the best method for finding blogs about a specific topic? I use a combination of inurl and intitle. intitle finds more crap mixed in and inurl usually finds much less blogs. Is there a better method than this?
