Hey all,

When I am commenting on BE blogs from Scrapebox I get virtually 0 success rate. I passed a list to someone on here, who blasted the list in about 30 mins and sent me a report (about 5000 links) and the had got all my comments to post and stick.

Is this because Im using Free Proxies, or do you think I have something wrong in my settings?...

Thanks

I had something similiar to this happen to me a while back. I went back and updated my free proxies right before I did my blast and made sure my timeout was higher and I got a 50% sucess rate.

Free proxies can also to give you a lower success rate because if the proxy was banned or detected then that post will not stick.

I'm fixing to get some private proxies just for my commenting. I still plan to burn off those free proxies for PR, scraping, etc.

You using slow poster accurate mode for blog engine?
Test your proxies regularly and filter out high latency ones.

Trust me, having private proxies are a must with ScrapeBox, not only it will make ScrapeBox much faster, but it will also pass the spam filters most of the time, I'd recommend getting some

Paid proxies are 100% a necessity with SB if you want to experience higher success rates and overall better performance from the tool.

Think about it this way....there are only a limited number of free proxies, and everyone is using them. This is why sometimes even though they work for a little while, they are dead within a few hours.

If you want to use free proxies, I recommend using them only for minimal tasks like scraping. I also recommend you gather them from sources other than SB.

Excellent advice. I have two questions based on the above (as my blogs were all AUTO APPROVE) so this is not a factor with the actual 'comment' per se, rather, my settings/and or proxies.

Can I ask:

1) Where to purchase the most suitable private proxies for SB, how many are recommended and the rough/approximate monthly cost.
2) What is the optimal setting for timeout on SB, as many of my fails are due to 'timeout error'.

Thanks

I'm not sure where I read that, but in a guide are those recommended

1. One of the best services I use for SB is ProxyGo's Service. He's a member here, and think this is the thread:

As far as pricing goes, that varies from place to place.

2. This depends on your computer and your internet connection speed. You can just play around with the settings until you see the timeouts appearing less.

Perfect link suggestions there.

Understood on the advice. My internet connection speed is great. I am about to pick up some private proxies right now actually.

Does anyone have any typical timeout options with their settings that they feel is a sweet spot, or is it really that open to just trial and error?

I secons third or fourth the private proxies thing. I was having mixed success with public ones. I finally broke down and bought some. What a difference it makes.

If your going to get paid proxies then I would wait to play around with your time out options because the paid proxies are much faster and the timeout bar can be lowered a bit more...

Last Thursday I sent out a blast of 50 comments, and 47 of them were approved and i'm using free proxies that I've found on the net.

If your posting a comment like "Great article, wish I had more information. Sounds good, awesome!" expect it to not be accepted. Write a (real) comment that is a few sentences then spin it.. but each spin has to look natural!

You could use the blog analyser and remove 'bad' blogs. Then you can also filter out moderated BE blogs if you want as well with the addon if you are doing spammy comments.

So if you're going to purchase private proxies for personal blasting of your own sites (not a commercial service for many clients) how many private proxies would you typically need?

I bought 10 private proxies from yourprivateproxies...not really seeing any difference in speed and/or acceptance rates...hmmmm

BE has special security or something like that. When you do BE your Scrapebox has to be the active window. Is your program the active window? meaning you can't blast scrape box and go surfing on the web or do anything else. Can someone back me up on this?
