Scrapebox Ping PR storm?

So many people talk about Ping PR storm style with SB, that means that pinging different on different sites, but what does it mean in real life? because ok I usualy ping after doing my fast comment, not everyday but a few times a week, but pr storm did not do comments but only ping, so where to find thoose urls to ping, and if pr storm did it without doing comments then SB should be able to do the same...

PR store did referrer spam. Basically there are stats pages which show "which sites are referring visitors". So, if you send 1000 fake hits to a website, that site will link to you. Mostly its not useful anymore I think for backlinking.

It is a good way to get webmasters to visit your site though. I always visit the links when I see a ton of referral hits to my personal sites.
