Scrapebox Page Scanner freezing when finishing or aborting...

If I abort or finish a scan, I can see the connections amount decreasing as it ends each connection, but it stops at one and nothing happens. I can wait hours, and task manager shows 50% or so CPU usage and 3-5MB memory usage, but nothing happens. It's just frozen and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close Page Scanner. Super frustrating! I've tried lowering threads, tried maximum page size setting, nothing fixes it.

Has anyone had this issue? I've talked to support and I've reached out again today, but all they've told me is that it's due to 'proxies', which I'm now not using and it's still happening.

(This has been happening since I bought Scrapebox a month or so ago, and I just tried the latest update and it's still happening.)

Found the url causing the issue! I don't know if it's the same url causing the problem as a month ago, but:

The page scanner addon was updated today and should work now fine.

I had this issue in the past and it was because I was using Proxies. If you are using proxies, flip em off and see if that fixes it.

Usually this is a stuck proxy that won't release. This was common with some scrapebox apps in the past (yp scraper), but they have since fixed it. Typically with scrapebox, if it's an error that makes no sense at all, send the support a message. They added a feature to a plugin that i requested within 2 days.

Are you able to tell what URL this is happening with? If we can find out the exact URL in the list that's causing it to happen, we should be able to add a fix for it.

unfortunately no, as scrapebox isn't providing any logs so IDK what's making its thread get stuck
its getting stuck like crazy

got lucky this time
2 out of 3 instanced finished without getting stuck

I can't see anything in your screenshot that would help indicate why it's happening unfortunately. Are you able to scroll through the list of URLs and see which ones don't say completed? How about in task manager, is there network activity for the addon showing the site you are connecting to is still loading?

both got stuck.
pressed stop. nothing happens. just like it happens when i'm running the full list

tested it on page scanner. it didn't get stuck there
tested it again on social account scraper and it did get stuck

Fantastic thank you. In a browser the page doesn't load it has some funky content encoding issue, plus on one machine the AV blocked the connection so the site has issues. However the Social Account Scraper has been updated and it now successfully processes that URL and any that have the same problem.

So please try updating to v2.1.0.3 of the Social Account Scraper addon and it should be working. Thanks for troubleshooting and locating that URL.

tested on a few instances, and they all stopped with 0 connection at ~ 900 urls checked

threads are being stuck and can't abord and export the progress.

if its hard to pinpoint the exact issue, can you please make the export button work, even if it didn't closed all threads. in most cases this will end up with a reasonable result.

These happen almost any scraping/checking features of scrapebox. I found that the issue is not about proxy, or settings or anything.

Its about the urls you trying to scrape/parse/check.

Knowing this issue, I always do with low amount of urls (below 1k) to work on. So that if its stuck, I will scroll down and check which url causing it. Then I will cancel (kill from task manager most of the times), remove that trouble url and redo the process.

Kinda frustating but this is 100% works on me.

@Sweetfunny I forgot youre that fast respond. Next time I found some trouble urls I will reach you quick.
