Hello!

I would like to know if an alternative to the page scanner addon exist out of scrapebox. I love this tool but for 2 days I can't use it (error or timeout to each url...).

In fact I just need a tool that can search a certain word on the pages of list of URL, can someone suggest me something?

Appreciate your help,

Thanks,

O.

So, no one have a good tool to do this kind of job?

RankJet WAF can do this task easily. I can help you to set it up and create script. You can grab free version.

I was excited when I saw this import.io thing. A custom point and click scraper in the cloud.

I looked at their video tutorial on how to set this thing up, it looks like all the scraping is done on your computer in a browser? Is that right? Seems like that's the case, and if it is, wow, how disappointing. There's already 100 things that do that.

I hope you can tell me I jumped to the wrong conclusion and the scraping is cloud based.

When using connectors and extractors to create API's, you train import.io on your machine, then upload it to the cloud, where you can run it again as many times as you like and connect to the data. The standard crawler does run off your machine like others, though we are very sophisticated in our algo's and methods, maintaining a super high data integrity rate on complex scrapes.

Basic point is that you download the data studio to create the scrapers, and then they run in the cloud. You can also run a crawler in the studio, or as an API in the cloud.

I hope this helps.
