Hello, any advance Srapebox users here, please? Ive just found out that you can check MozRank for urls scraped with Scrapebox but you will need to sign up for Moz API for that and it is super expensive starting at 250usd per month. Is there any other ways we can use this service at cheaper price? I googled that but didnt find anything (and I guess it makes sense as you get limted rows per month for each package they offered....) I'm just trying my luck asking here.
If there's no way to get discount for Moz API, then, will there be any other ways to check DA, or MozRank or anything of that sort in bulk using scrapebox, please? Im trying to figure out how to use Scrapebox to scrape target urls for GSA and I want to check quality of the target urls befofre using them to build backlinks.

I would not use that Scrapebox module. There are cheaper services for this like Domdetailer. You can find some like this in the martketplace to compare prices.
Generally the idea with scrapebox is to use the free Moz tier, but its somewhat limited.

Thanks. Other than Domdetailer, what other services can do the same thing? Could you please name a few so that I can look for them in market place? Thanks again.

there are people in the marketplace that sell MOZ accounts for like $10 or so, you can find them by browsing this thread:

Here's one that I happen to have bookmarked, but there are probably more sellers, you just have to look hard :)

Thanks mate. Just want to confirm, are moz plans the same as moz api plans? I see that they have different prices on their official site...

no idea, but probably not if I were to guess...

I'm sorry that I can't help you better, you'll have to do research yourself or pay the obscenely high prices... Actually, you might want not to worry about DA altogether since it's a bogus metric most of the time...

Hey tazarbm, you have helped me, please there's nothing to be sorry about =) I haven't started using scrapebox yet but I do think that there could be quite a lot of low quality urls no matter that box we use. And yeah, like you said, the other thing I'm concerned about is the reliability of those metrics by third party checkers. Do you scrape urls yourself and how do you deal with problems like this?

I scraped URLs last year but I never bothered checking their PA (well, I didn't have a MOZ account anyway, so that's part of the problem lol).... But seriously, DA is not important....

Hmm they should be if you want to use them for your money site. Hehe I know know it's risky that's why I'm doing my research before really moving forward. So what's happening this year? Do you buy target urls now instead of scraping your own and why?

I don't do SEO anymore, I'm focusing on an offline project that I need to finish before 2025, so SEO is not on my list anymore... at least for a few years...

And no, DA should not be important, google doesn't give a rat's ass about a metric invented by MOZ, if you check the rankings of many keywords across different niches you will see sites with low DA outranking sites with high DA a lot, and this should tell you how important DA is :)

Now, if sites have high DA (say, 80+) this could indicate an authority website (ie. site with strong backlinks), but outranking such sites will be a big problem for you, as a newb, anyway, and beating these sites with backlinks is the least of your worries, which is why DA is even less important in this case. If the DA of your competitors is that high (and if it's genuine) you're better off not competing with those guys in the first place, or try to compete with them on content / topical authority levels rather than pure authority (DA).

But anyway, I've advocated enough against DA, if you want to use it in your assessments it's your call :)

Anyway, what URLs are you trying to find with Scrapebox if you don't mind me asking? If I were to guess I'd say you're trying to find blogs for guest posting outreach, probably that's why you're so obsessed with DA. And if that's what you're trying to find then let me tell you, even in this case DA should be the least of your worries. What's more important for guest posting outreach is that the sites:

- rank in google
- have traffic
- have decent amount of content pages indexed in google
- are at least slightly relevant to your niche
- accept guest posts
- don't sell links from every content page they have

These are much more important points for guest posting outreach than DA...

Thanks a lot mate. I'll add those into my check list. I'm new to seo, trying to get some nice links to my main site and I was worry about too many low quality links that will bring my site down if not careful

well, to be honest, unless you have really good footprints (and even then, getting the links manually by contacting the site owners to arrange / pay for them is the recommended route) Scrapebox is not the way to go (for automating tier 1 link building I mean)

Scrapebox is amazing for a million of other SEO-related things, including building low tier (2+) links, but tier 1 links I would build manually, just saying :)

Thanks again. What about paid target links? Ever tried those?

Another one who is caring about MOZ :D
MOZ metrics are crap
Or are you looking to open a sales thread with “high DA” links haha

Hehe I wish I knew enough to sell. So what do you sell here?

I don’t sell anything
And 90% of the services on BHW are BS
Do you use gsa ser to create backlinks to you main site? If you do, then how do you find links good enough for a job like that?
