Scrapebox - out of memory

I don't get how that would happen, I do link blasts like that on 1gb ram.

I even do small blasts on another vps on different vps with 256mb ram lol

I was getting that message this morning on my VPS. All of the other software is running fine on my VPS so it is a scrapebox problem. You might want to send a note to scrapebox support.

hm, I have 8gb memory, but still get this error when try to submit to 600k urls

300k posts? Damn. I only post about 1000. Is that the reason none of my sites rank? Ahahahaha

i had over 400,000 successful posts and I'd say 15% would only be approved and legit backlinks if not less

An "out of memory" error doesn't mean there is not enough ram. It means something inside the program itself got too big to handle. Those internal limits are language specific and a developer is expected to take care of such scenarios.

Maybe it was the size of the list that caused the problem or maybe it was some mangled URL like htp:// instead of http://

At any rate, it is better to split the million into 4 or 5 sublists, start 4 or 5 instances of SB and let them all loose. This way even if something crashes you have not lost all your work and also know what to repeat.

And I thought I was going hard with 5000links
You're really crazy blasting 1million links!

Monrox is right, what could actually be depleting is your system resources, the memory section of Windows that keep track of windows opened, size, position etc. A larger run like yours can exacerbate a very small memory leak also or heap stack error. Break the run up into several parts and you'll be fine. Most I do is 150K.

I have questions about scrapebox too..

Do you used fake names? or keyword on the names of the comment?

Also, do I need to have VPS? Can I do this on my Own PC?

THanks!

You can use fake names and there's a tool built in to generate massive lists of them. You can also choose to use your keywords as anchors, I guess really it depends what the purpose of your blast is.

You can run scrapebox from home, but depending on your connection, it's probably best to run it on a VPS. Personally I ran it at home while I was experimenting and getting a feel for the software. You can easily transfer your license across to your VPS once a month.

Now you know why there is a split feature in SB. Split the list a bit. Don't be silly and try to work with million url lists.

If it's the list that has been floating around for about a year 90% of it is junk now anyways. If you really used a link checker I bet less than 1% actually posted. Average success rate is between 1 and 2% with those lists. Also the ones that posted probably have 3,000 OBLs so the link has no weight or negative weight. It is just a waste of time and resources to work with those old huge lists.

As far as 300,000 posting, no way. Because SB says it had success doesn't mean the link posted. Do some link checking against that 300,000 and I bet you don't find 3,000 with your anchor text and link showing.

There is a lot more to SB then finding or buying lists and spraying away.

T0m, you can run multiple instances on 1 computer; read what the prompt says.

You just need to extract the program files to a new folder. I run 3 on both my servers just using the following folder names and I have only one lisence for each server.

Scrapebox1
Scrapebox2
Scrapebox3

Thanks I will try that :)
