Two more questions though,
- At this point in time how many add-ons are available for Mac when compared to 33 addons for windows version.
- With the available add-ons that come with the scrapebox itself and without buying additional plugins, is it possible and is there a way to scrape emails from Facebook groups, Instagram?
As an expert, Which version would you personally recommend that I go with at the moment? I am planning to buy in a day or two.

Buy windows, if you can use it. It already has all the plugins, addons and feature available. Plus mac is a bit random in their back end, meaning they are prone to random non reproduceable issues and there is basically no error logging that is of value in these cases. Windows doesn't have these issues and if there is an error it has great error logging for troubleshooting these sorts of things.
Plus if there are socket errors that pile up fast for whatever reason, mac chokes, it can't handle them, where as windows doesnt' have this issue.
Im not saying mac is a bad OS, to each his own. What Im saying is that for this type of seo automation software windows is simply better suited to working with what is required. Everything has its strengths and weaknesses.
Ill put it this way, I have a mac copy of scrapebox and I only run it to answer questions when people have them, I would never actually do any production in scrapebox in mac. Im not saying you can't, it will work, but im saying windows is more optimal. If you have no choice and mac is your only choice its a good choice, but if you can choose between mac and windows for scrapebox, windows wins hands down for scrapebox use.

Also yes for either windows or mac you can scrape from facebook or instagram but its built as a standard email scraper and crawler. Meaning it will either crawl the urls you load in and only those (if you tell it to) or it will crawl thru any url it can find on facebook/insta.
So if you load in a url of a dog lovers group and it links to a news page on Covid-19 that affects dogs and then that links to people going nuts over toilet paper and that links to a group about car repair, scrapebox will crawl thru the whole chain and scrape emails from every url. Scrapebox is built for mass email scraping, it won't stay inside a specific group etc. . Also you should know on facebook getting B2C emails is difficult at best, its very well hidden. You can readily get business/B2B emails though.
For instagram milage may vary, but again its not going to stay inside any group or niche. Now you can scrape google for specific urls about what you want and stay on those, but insta uses javascript heavily and scrapebox does not support javascript. So any email or content that is loaded by javascript will not be loaded by scrapebox. Think about where there are 4737 comments and the first 10 get loaded (or whatever) and the rest are loaded when you scroll down. That scroll down is a script and scrapebox will only be able to see the first 10 comments (or however many are shown).
so yes you can get mails from facebook and instagram, but milage may vary depending on your use case and goals.
