This a pretty simple question.

There seems to be a consensus that nofollow links are useless in SEO for Google. Scrapebox produces mostly nofollow links but yet it is regarded a very powerful tool.

Why are these nofollow bloglinks so popular?

AS far as I am concerned backlinking is a numbers game. And its also a good idea to have a few no follow backlinks pointing to your website. It creates diversity. If you are so bent upon getting only do follow links there is a do follow link checker add on in SB, use that and find all the do f0ll0w links and post only on them Hope this helps :)

I suppose that the big majority of the sb users do not bother checking no/do follow etc.
What i do though is that i create a large number of backlinks (usually wordpress) by using the fast poster and then i use the slow poster to post on High Pr do follow blogs.

Well... my feeling is that NF links will not help with site PR, will not transfer "link juice"... however it is still valuable when using anchor text since you are letting google know what your site is about... so I believe it can be beneficial for "relevance", which ultimately helps with your rankings. Google does not say (to my knowledge) that they don't follow NF links, just that they don't pass PR.

Watch this: http://www.scrapebox.com/videos/do-follow/

ScrapeBox doesn't "produce" nofollow links, it gathers what you tell it. I told it to gather do-dollow URL's and it did just that at the rate of almost one do-follow blog per second.

ScrapeBox is only a tool, the real power comes from the user. :)

I believe nofollow links from high authority heavily moderated sites do work. I rank for an exact anchor text that I snuck into Wikipedia, who's articles are generally blantantly copied by other sites (including the nofollow attribute, alas).

Do you know what scrapebox is?
My guess? you are on about Wordpress blog posting.
Please read the fecking hundreds of posts that all go to great lengths to explain that scrapebox is not about posting spam on wordpress.

If it's posting you are after (and posting is just one of several very important features SB has) then SB will;

At worst find
At best find and post

To ANY identifable footprint on the WEB. IN other words about 95% of every site on the web

As standard it ships with some blogging "footprints" - of which Wordpress is the most popular - but also probably the most tight - platform to post on.

Wordpress =
Good platform for you to use for content
Not so good for you to use to spam on others

You can find ANY site with SB that allows posting. Every other blog type, forums, many WEB2.0 sign up sites (pligg etc), Facebook fan pages (a HAaaaaaaa I hear you say)
Hell I have even used it to post personal ads (not on CL i should add)

Then there's the other functions
Pinging, view count bumping, URL checking, link checking, page and site PR checking, proxy scraping, site scraping..... the list goes on.

Scrapebox is a multifunction tool that can be used in more ways than you can get your head around. It has a list of plugins that add more functionality and are being added to all the time.

I suggest you read up on it BEFORE posting the same comments and questions that have been answered countless times before.

Rant off/ Now let's all settle down and have a cuppa

Scritty

i think that no follow links works too, at least i make posts to facebook groups and i upload youtube videos that increase the traffic to relevant content of my sites

I just saw the video that sweetfunny posted and i had a " bright " idea due to something i noticed in the video! Some days ago i had harvested a list of specific wordpress blogs. The next day i was bored to check them and i simply continued my mass spam in whatever blogs, you know for quantity.

When i saw the video i realised that indeed there are plenty of do f0llow blogs and i am testing them at this moment. The results are really really good!

What i want to say is that indeed sb is a tool and it does pretty much what you tell it. If you search a bit more the results will be surprisingly good!
