I will start by saying that I love SB and have used it for years with no problems at all and it has been one of the most valuable tools I have ever purchased. I am not sure what is going on but somehow my Real IP was leaked!! Just this week I used the scraped proxies from SB to post a few comments too many testing a burned out site. I scraped, I posted and everything I would normally do. After a really low success rate a few days later I used 2 private / paid proxies and hit it again. Today when I checked the footprint I created (on purpose) .... I almost fell out of the chair when I saw my REAL IP ADDRESS and ISP Provider info. I thought maybe it was a glitch in my private proxies or something but the dates in the "Spam Reports" show the 3 days that multiple proxies both public and private were used. Now I am wondering how the hell did this happen?

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea of how it could happen?

I don't think it has anything to do with SB itself. If the proxies you used are transparent, then the target server could see your details.

Use a VPS. Then even if this ever accidentally happens (it shouldn't if you are using truly anon proxies), only the VPS IP leaks.

Thanks, Guys.. just strange that I used several different proxies from different sources! And I was still flagged for "Spam Activities" on all 3 days! Sounds like a vps is the only way. Now I guess I will need to contact may ISP and ask for a reset. I still can not figure out why my real IP is showing up.

Read again what grazy told you: your proxies are TRANSPARENT this means a special header is added to each http-request revealing your real ip.

Check e.g. by using the proxy in your browser and calling whatismyip, they tell you how anonymous your proxy is.

Also it could have been as simple as thinking the use proxies box was checked when it wasn't. You might be certain you did have it checked the use proxies box, but when working thru things, its an easy enough oversight. I know I have made this mistake before.

But Scrapebox doesn't "leak" ips. Assuming the use proxies box is checked, then it sends the request to the proxy. Whether or not the proxy passes on the request to the end target, and shows its ip or your ip, thats dependent on the proxy its self, not Scrapebox.

Looks like you were probably using transparent proxies. I'm guessing the public proxies were from a scraper? I hope a proxy provider didn't provide with transparent proxies. A transparent proxy will show your IP info off to the world, transparent proxies should not be used for content marketing they're really only good for caching.
