Scrapebox, It's powerful, if you're not retarded

yea scrapebox is ar ealyl powerful tool haha and it realyl depends on ur comments or if u filter it out with the addon for auto approve

I love the people who use the example coments and email and then complain that it doesn't work.

So, would you guys say that Scrapebox in combination with senuke is a deadly combination? Some say senuke with xrumer.

I think the best combination is scrapebox+xrumer+senuke if we combine all 3 of them it can do a blast in your faver.

I think Scrapebox is a good tool. It's getting too popular now and has become slightly less useful than it once was for blog spamming, but it has so many other great tools that it still rocks. Also to all the guys spamming rubbish comments, why not just have a look at comments that are being accepted in your niche and get them spun. 20 decent relevant comments will do much much more than "me likey websitey big time" If you cannot innovate then please imitate ;)

what I can say after 2 months of SB use: several of my domains were banned by akismet... I gained some backlinks, but it is no more possible to gain some more, because the domain is blacklisted...out of 10000 wordpress posts i got maybe 100 backlinks.. and some of my domains were sandboxed.

And other weird thing is: If I want sites for example for the keyword "dvd player", the software will find totally unrelated blogs with no "dvd" or "player" keyword on that page..

I've used it for a few months and am not blacklisted by akismet. I wonder if you could set up a subdomain and redirect it to your main domain, if that would bypass the blacklist from them.

This is not so cool. You may be leaving a footprint. I don't have the program but for other using SB, have any of you ran into similar issues?

i am trying to comment without populating the url field. when i have the sites list empty scrapebox forces me to put something in there. is there a way around this? i didn't think i should start a thread to ask this question.

Alright, I just don't want people to get false hope. I've scraped for a single keyword several times. Wrote comments around that keyword/niche. My comments were 10-12 sentences long. Spun them. 20 different comments.

Out of 5000 comments, after 2 weeks? 94 approved links.
I would suggest that your niche might be hip to it. I would say that very few Scrapebox/Xrumer posts get through my defenses because while the comment might work in-context, I'm also looking at their domain name. "gibberish.pl" is not going to get approved by me. This is where the "De-link Comment" wordpress plugin comes in handy. :nana:

So saddle up and ride again, or target a different niche would be my advice there.

That's an excellent question. One of those things where I would think it would bypass, but who knows?

For WP comments, I use HashCash, which actually reduces the number of spam comments compared to Akismet. But I do get quite a few comments that seem botty (ie You make a great point, I've bookmarked your site, with the name Online CCNA Classes).

Note: On a major client site, one thing I do is block all blank and "curl" user-agents, which cut all bot activity down to almost nothing. But compared to most bloggers, that's practically a feat of great skill :D I've worked with bloggers who'd blogged for 2/3/4 years and never even activated Akismet. The more tech-oriented your niche, the more of a problem you will have.

Everything I do with Scrapebox I do with free proxies, but not the ones in SB using the harvester.

Interesting!

Are you suggesting that the SB proxies might be not as effective since they are being used by thousands of SB users?

I found a site I wanted to scrape, but Google only allows 1000 results. So I took the domain and added /sitemap.xml, and found a way to scrape 115k urls using the sitemap scraper. I then used the email harvester to scrape those urls, I already have 2300 niche targeted emails, and I still have 85k urls left to scrape out of those 115k. I have 4 instances of SB running right now doing different jobs. I'm also pinging to raise views on a page that will get me listed higher up in results on a certain site, but I won't share what site :)

I bought SB about two weeks ago. I've watched the videos and played with it a bit. I'm starting to do some "outside of the box" things and I'm pleased with the tool. This is a great idea - thanks for sharing!

My guess is that you are collecting e-mail addresses to contact these "niche targeted users" directly with offers or links to your site. Or, is there something else that can be done with them?

Can you give us an example of your comments? And where do you find those free proxies?

Amiable post and this fill someone in on helped me alot in my college assignement. Say thank you you on your information.

Will someone please write a Scrapebox "Strategic Guide"!!! I will be your first buyer!

There are a ton a great comments and techniques all over this forum about Scrapebox but what you end up with is TOTAL CONFUSION or info overload! Someone here that is a SB expert needs to write a guide on how to really use SB the right way! You could make some serious bank!

i can't believe the high approval rate wit SB
