I bought scrapebox yesterday and have been using it since i purchased it. I have watched several videos and read some guides and feel like i am doing things correctly and so far the thing i have been using it for most is finding high pr blogs that i can post on and going in and manually placing the links. I have been trying to do the auto blog comment poster and all that happens is about 4/5 of the links fail or more and then when i go to check the links it says every one of them is not found, even when i go to the website url directly there is nothing there. I can't seem to figure out how to get the links to show up as well as make sure that my post success rate exceeds 22/155 links :(

I would appreciate some veteran direction.
Thanks!

A lot of your success rate with Scrapebox will depend on the footprints you are using. If you are just using the built in wordpress or blogengine footprint, then you are not gonna have much luck. Find some good footprints and use those. There are numerous lists of them in this forum. Best of luck!

When scrapebox reports a link as "posted" it does only mean it was able to post a comment to the blog. But that does not mean the link is alive. If it's a moderated blog, the owner first has to manually approve your comment.
What you're looking for are auto approved blogs (blogs without moderation).

Are you using public proxies for posting? This could cause the poor posting success rate. I recommend using private proxies.

Thanks! I have worked on implementing some custom footprints, i have only used their supply proxies before contacting support, i wonder what they will offer to help me out!

Thanks sixalarm for the proxy info! Another problem that i have been having is when I run keyword searches like 3/4 of the keywords i search for will say not completed and come up red and and only a few will actually be completed often times Google seems to be the problem child, is this due to proxies as well?

Yes, it sounds like both the problems you're describing are likely related to proxes. proxies can be a source of confusion and frustration for many when they're getting started. Get some proxies from other sources (read up in the proxy forums here for some great advice, there are some great threads by some people who really know the proxy world very well you can learn from; apekillape comes to mind for one, there are others too but ape's stickied posts are like Proxy 101 and 102 classes).

Yeah it does sound like proxies. To be sure, turn off the multithreaded harvester and watch as it harvests. That way you will definitely know if it is related to proxies, but I would be willing to bet that it is :P.

Sixalarm, I think you were right when i turn off the using multiple feature and the harvest all i get down the board is errors, I will have to figure out where to get some new proxies so that I can start using SB better :o

There are few public proxy providers here on BHW. Just check the proxy section.
