Scrapebox in my opinion is pointless unless the blogs you are commenting on are 1) Auto Approve or 2) The comment is very realistic and the owner approves it.

I am saying this because as many times as we scrape and scrapebox these blogs, the chances of the comments being accepted is slim to none.

Scrapebox can definitely be used for other purposes besides commenting but it seems like the concept of scrapeboxing thousands of blogs and posting on them is not really worth the time.

I might be talking out of my ass but I dont know. What do you guys think?

Scrapebox is a good tool to get your site possibly indexed and get you "SOME" links that are unfollow but other than that, i feel hopeless with it.

Scrapebox is useless unless you start using it for more things rather than just blog commenting. Think outside the box and use it wisely. SB is an awesome tool :)

Yes I confirm that you are talking out of your ass as you were worried you were doing it.


You have 3 Options.

Just write Generic Comments like:
Hello you have quite a nice blog, its built on wordpress right ? Which theme are you using the background is quite nice!


You can get atleast 10% Comment acceptance like that

Or you can use auto approve blogs.


Or you could use SB with one of the other 20 Features it has :)

Yeah and I believe that the third one is the most powerful option ;)

scrapebox was meant for SCRAPING. although it is widely used for blog commenting. it is really meant for scraping things, urls' , emails, names, things of that nature.
 
cyrus how could it scrape facebook for names?

SB is only as useless or powerful as the person using it. You are basically only limited by your imagination.
 
5% of 500k is still a lot when it comes to backlinks. Especially when it can be almost fully automated.
 
SB is a great tool, with a little finesse and thinking on your part you can strike pockets of gold.
 
In my limited knowledge of the subject of SEO and after the purchase of a plethora of SEO tools and gimmicks I can honestly say that Scrapebox is the #1 purchase I made to date. Regarding the backilinking component I can say that this is a very effective method to gain backlinks whether it be automatic or manually and in my opinion there is no equal. I have also used it with great effectiveness for finding niche markets and for checking competition and for reverse engineering other sites.

Agreed with the other comments that the tool is only as useful or useless as the person using the tool.

SB is an awesome tool. I use it in lots of ways each and every day -

1. Finding high pr blogs to comment on manually
2. Scraping competitors links to find the ones worth duplicating
3. Auto commenting to my web 2.0 sites
4. Scraping forums to create profiles
5. Finding high pr expired domains

etc etc etc
 
Scrapebox is still very useful if you really plan the blog commenting job. There are times I dont even look for autoapprove lists for commenting. Those are the same lists being used by thousands of people.

What I do is that I really go for blogs which are moderated. I get thousands of them. Then I write comments which are:

1. targeted to the specific niches I am interested in. That makes me to comment on thousands of blogs and the blog owners whould think I really visited the blogs to post comments.

2. targeted to all types of niches and would make you post comments and get approved because of the quality of the comments you are posting and increase search engine ranking because of the sites from which you are getting backlinks.

As you plan what you want to do, you can still use the tool to your benefit. That means it is still possible to post comments and people would think you were doing manual blog commenting. Use strategies that would get you optimum benefits.
