ScrapeBox - How to use and is it worth it?

I am just starting out my own SEO company and was wondering if Scrapebox should be used as an everyday tool for clients?

What is the best way of using scrapebox and not to get rejected as spam.

Where to find lists etc?

You can get a list from the Items for Sale forum here at BHW. Once you have this list, find the High PR sites and use the manual poster to submit quality comments to link back to your site(s).

I use it every day. It's made me a lot more than what I paid for it.
 
use the search function and you should find all you need to know about SB and how to use it effectively.

don't just browse through the materials either. if you want to make it work, be prepared to spend at least a few hours up to even a whole evening reading and taking notes.

once you've done that, do some practice campaigns to get the feel for it even better.
 
Ok, just purchased Scrapebox, any suggestions on looking for seo related items or is it straight forward enough?

The cornerstones of link building are:

  1. Site Pinging: Pinging is a great way to gain more traffic by letting the search engines know your website has been updated and needs to be crawled.
  2. Blog commenting: Blog commenting allows you to gain back links from high-ranking websites.
  3. Forum profile links: Forum links are great ways to gain instant rankings under keyword terms with low to moderate amounts of competition
  4. Directory submissions: Directory Submissions are a good way of quickly building link popularity for your website.
  5. Social bookmarking: Submission of your blog or site to social bookmarking sites such as Stumbleupon, Mixx, YahooBuzz, Digg, Folkd, Multiply, MyBlogLog, Jumptags, Delicious, Tipd, Faves, BuzzFlash, Kaboodle, etc.
  6. Article Marketing: Exceptional when done correctly

For everything that ScrapeBox can't do, just outsource it on Fiverr.
 
Just make sure that before you start using it for clients, they know that they're going to get spam complaints, possibly get sandboxed, possibly get deindexed, etc. If you're specifically offering a blackhat service fine, but you don't want to be the guy who ruined their site.

This is the exact opposite of what you want to do and is very misleading because it makes SB sound like a dangerous tool.

There's no need to give automation tools bad reputation because SB and any other automation software is not dangerous if you know how to use it properly.

OP - You can use SB in a completely WH way, and being that you already have an SEO service, I assume you already know about WH promotion.
 
also make sure u get a reasonable supply of proxies to
blast your comments. be prepared if u use the free ones
supplied in scrapebox there over saturated and half G/banned

rule of thumb
10 private proxies for posting only or more if your a heavy user
public proxies for the dirty work of scraping.

although if u get the right public proxie source u can sometimes
get away with doing both - provided the source pool is fairly
limmited.

If you got sandboxed, go back and see what you did wrong. If you got deindexed dont blame sb but really search for ALL the things that you did wrong because i bet that you did many many things wrong.

SB is a tool, if you use mis-use it, be prepared for it. Its exactly the same as leaving the oven on for two days in a row. Ovens are not lethal tough.
 
Guys I know you can do white or not-too-grey commenting using scrapebox, but when someone asks a question I always assume they're more likely to want to go overboard than to be overly cautious.

The point is when it comes to client you should never implement a strategy without making sure that they know exactly what their corporate identity is being put on, who is going to see it and what the risks are. Some will turn down good links just because the content you've got to put their name on to get it is just below what they want to represent.

It really depends on the client. That stuff isn't as black as it could be, but it's still a non editorial link strategy. It's not going to get anyone in trouble, but a lot of companies would have real problems with having forum usernames registered in their name. In the end if the client is cool with it, you know, whatever works.

With scrapebox you would only need to filter the linkjuice and avoid getting banned from aff networks or so by using web2.0s if you are not sure if those are auto-approved and not moderated.
