Scrapebox horror stories

didn't run off with my GF just knocked her up and left her for me to deal with!
On a serious note. this could be a useful thread and similar threads could be started about a number of software packages! What I have read about xrumer has got me scared. I know the russians are masters! some of the stuff they are doing is unbelieveable. so for now I just hire xrumer people here on BHW

Only bad thing Ive seen about Scrapebox is that blogengine is now totally defenseless and becoming totally worthless...
Other than that, its one of my favorite toys of all time...

Ok, so here is another not to-do experience from today.
I harvested a new list with a custom footprint.
I commented selecting Wordpress blogs blog first (in commenting section).
Then to post to Movable blogs form the list I selectad "Movable" and commented on the same list selecting (which of course should be different blogs from the list). But statistics got me wonder.
WP - about 55% of posts are successful...
same approx 55% for movable...
The question was "How can it be"? Obviously something wasn't right.
Turned to support.. Apparently, as i know now, ScrapeBox can auto detect Wordpress or Movable Type, so I commented to the same list twice.
Twice on a list of 30,000 URLs, with about 15,000 successful posts that could turn out in 2000 backlinks. Well, instead twice means many spam complains and 0 comments will be approved because it will be obvious that it's not a manual blog (too bad)... And good think that I mainly used web 2.0 property, so all spam reports will not do much harm...
The only question, then why do we have radio buttons in commenting section to select the type of blogs to post to? May be it's obvious for some people, but definitely not an intuitive solution for me.
I would like to hear how you use those check boxes, actually, in what context. And I bet, there will be many other people who will try to follow the same logic (post type by type).
I would suggest to add a button "All types" or so... to avoid confusion and duplicated efforts...
Loopline, if you are doing videos, I think that would be a useful one...

The same happened to me and he also slept with my mom and ate my desert...
As previously said you just have to use it wisely its a great tool for building backlinks quickly and it has cool addons even CHESS
(is it just me or if I set the search depth or whatever of the computer more than 4-5 he gets very hard to beat ? )boo blizzi

i did this same thing my first couple runs with sb...but upon carefully reading the guide...it says to separate wp for other types of blogs and comment like that...but now that i know ur saying it can automatically determine which is which...i dont think i will separate them anymore unless someone provides a valid reason why i shouldnt

The software is as powerful and useful, as the person using it so better use of it wil help rather sitting and counting the flaws..

Being a little schitzo I had trouble with the two "List -> Transfer urls to..for Commenter"
I did not take the time to understand what each did (read operator error) so I selected them both (effectively overwriting my own website urls).
Some 6000 comments later I realized I was posting my anchor text and linking to the very same blogs I was posting comments to - DOH!

Anything can if abused can get you sandoxed on if you spam your competitors blog you could get bitched at.... In my opinion blog commenting is only about 20% of what this tool does, learn the tool and try out some custom footprints. Just make sure not to go crazy with the tool unitl you understnd ALL of what it's capable. Anytime a method/tool is exploited, people find ways to shut it down. I have experienced great results with this tool and recommend it.
