So you're trying to scrape:

I would just do that in excel, copy/paste into text editor and remove the space.

So you want to scrape all urls that have a number between 1 and 1000 on a given domain?
I would do
site:domain.com 1
site:domain.com 2
site:domain.com 3
you can use the merge function or excel etc.. to build the footprints and then just scrape.
If you need absolute accuracy you can use the page scanner to verify the results.

Yes, it "should" work fine, however you won't get as many results that way. That would cap you at "max" of 1000 results. If there are say 10,000 results giving individual footprints would force google to return different sets of results that result in more overall results scraped.
So it just depends on the diversity your after. Also you could tack on random words
site:domain.com "1..1000" car
site:domain.com "1..1000" green
site:domain.com "1..1000" a
site:domain.com "1..1000" b
etc...
lots of ways to twist it.
