Scrapebox Help

So I recently purchased Scrapebox. I'm currently backlinking 2, 2.0 websites that link to my money sites. I'm not completely aware of how Scrapebox works though. So to clear things up, I'll give you guys a quick rundown of what I normally. Please comment on whether I'm using this software correctly or not, thanks.

Once I open Scrapebox, I normally just pick something from the dropdown box. I have no idea what it's for. As for the keywords, I pick keywords related to my money sites. After that, I run the harvester and once the URLs show up, I transfer those URLs to my websites.txt file for later usage in the Auto Commentator. Once that's done, I simple put in my .txt files in the Auto Commentator and click "Start Posting". Am I doing this correctly? By the way, I'm not using proxies. I don't know where to get them from.

Well not quite, there's also the names ,emails and URL list you would want to spin. And for the proxy's , you can harvest your own list right in side of scrape box.

You should REALLY use proxies. The dropdown is for custom footprints, but if you're just starting out you can stick to just the radio buttons. Use the name & email generator, and for the email domain, make it some BS relating to your niche, and use .org like it's a friendly company just leaving a helpful comment. I've gotten more success that way.
Look for some AA blogs, and find some good comments. Then you can fully automate it.

I just found a nice list of proxies, I put them into a .txt file and uploaded them on Scrapebox. I've started harvesting, but I'm not receiving any URLs from it. Also, for the comment section, I normally just BS everything but the domain, that's where I insert my 2.0 blogs. Is that right?

If you haven't gotten any good ,high PR URL's yet from your targeted keywords, just add more targeted keywords to your list. A good tip is to manually comment to the Pr 4 and higher blog's to insure higher success rates for the more profitable blogs and just spam the rest. For the URL's , Yes , just add them into the list so they can be rotated and submitted.

That's because Scrapebox has been experiencing a proxy issue for a while as Google is quickly banning proxies from making automated queries. They're supposed to be coming out with an update, but who knows when that's going to happen.
