Scrapebox has been useless

Like most have said here; Private proxies are the way to go. I recently switched from public sources to private proxies, and the difference is night and day. The success rate and speed shot up dramatically!

Look around there are some good deals for private proxies on this forum. Highly suggested!

Best of luck,
GoldenGlovez

I'm sighed up with 10 different free public proxy distribution forums. I use roboform to sign into one and snatch some fresh ones off of the new posts with low view counts. Per 100 proxies I usually get 10 working ones... its worked pretty well for me.

There is nothing wrong with my internet.
I've used SB perfectly fine WITHOUT PRIVATE PROXIES.

Now, the program runs extremely slow when harvesting anything.

Harvest Proxies - Get about 0-25. If its less than 15 I just close the program out.
Harvest Keywords - This can take me aborting/restarting up to 10 times. I usually just close the program out because ill either get 2 keywords when I should be getting 30.

This is typically as far as I can get without getting annoyed with this garbage.

This has worked PERFECTLY fine in the past and my methods have not changed.

Lately all I've been able to do is backlink check competitors and get a few manual links.

first of all SB is working like like charm !
now about your problem,
1)use at-least 10mbit connection and reduce thread count
2)if possible use private proxy OR fresh public one
3)remove all junk before blasting
4)for harvesting proxy don't use SBs internal source ,use other search here for that

5 minutes x 7 days = 35 minutes a week

35 mins x 4 = 2 hours 20 minutes

2 hours 20 minutes = $70 (@ $30p/h)

10 private proxies = $25 per month

seems like good value to me

not cost efficient for me.

Early investment outlay like this often kills startups... or the assumption that 30 p/h is anywhere near what start up preneurs make.

Try more like $1/hr

OP, from your other thread...

So, I've had it for over a month now. Suddenly I can not connect to the server.

Unable to access any Scrapebox server at the moment.
the connection was aborted before we could reach our server.
This is the behavior of a firewall blocking Scrapebox.
Please ensure that you allow Scrapebox to connect to the internet.

There is no firewall blocking scrapebox right now.

Started last night. Started going really slow then I closed it and attempted to reopen and was greeted with this.

I've restarted the software dozens of times, attempted to turn my firewall off and restarted the computer. Nothing has worked.

That's really nothing to do with free Vs paid proxies, or ScrapeBox itself rather somethings impacting the network like AV software, firewall, router etc going on what you posted here and in the other thread. Actually a good place to look is the uTorrent forums, it behaves in a similar way and you will find thousands of the same sorts of problems/solutions posted there. Try punching in the name of you antivirus, your firewall and then you router model in to the search box there and see what comes up.

I have used SB for over a year, I have never had problems with it!

You know that you should "tweek" the settings to suit your own needs right?

Scrapebox is running great for me as well on my vps.

public proxies are unreliable. they might be working great for a sec and could be down because of everyone trying to use it.

Always check your proxies before scraping and posting for more success rates.
