[Scrapebox] - Harvesting with OK anon proxies, will not work.

I'm harvesting with anon pub proxies...I realize good pub proxies are harder to come by, I do have proxygo service but I can't get google to harvest urls... I'm using footprint inurl:register.php "Powered by vBulletin" I CAN get them to harvest with my IP in google...But None of the IPS that checked out OK in proxy checker are working... Only on Yahoo... Does this mean to only use Yahoo... Or should I buy private proxy for harvesting... Sounds like google is getting angry with us :eek:

Avoid using any advanced operator as footprint. Also avoid "powered by" as they are very common and G0ogle is restricting such queries. Find some simple common phrase used only in vBulletin sites. Use that as footprint.

when i remove powered by yahoo is working :)

but on yahoo scrapebox just harvest page 1 and 2

Yes, I had the same problem.

There are some solutions :
  • Buy private proxies.
  • Harvest proxies tested against Google.
  • Scrape without proxies... Ok, forget this one.

With ScrapeBoard, you can harvest and test proxies against Google.
Results are low but working.

I don't know exactly where this problem may well arise.
Maybe Google prohibits rich research (with "inurl", "intitle", etc) through proxies...

I just harvested and tested 11 free proxies :

with this proxies i get a error 404 connection refused by just searching fo a normal site:domain.com
 
I noticed that as well, that if I use Google advanced search operators it returns 0 or minimum results.

I try to keep it basic with my harvesting and try to get directories urls and not a specific page within the domain; I have my virtual assistant sort that out!
 
so the scrapebox "scraping" function is getting more and more useless.....

when i use scrapebox to scrape, no results with my own ip but when i use my browser is get all the results no matter what kind of deep search option i use....

i harvest with Google everyday with no problems
don't use advance search
me personally i use custom footprints.
also why didnt you come speak to me it doesnt look
right when you say i use proxygos service and i cant
harvest anything - its almost like in-direct slating

every signup i do is given these settings to get the best
ammount of proxies from public ones, now either you have changed
them - didnt do them at all - this is not a problem with my service
im replying here because you didnt take the time to ask me
pm me or contact me in anyway
instead you posted i cant scrape> i use proxygos service

settings > adjust max connection > proxy harvester 30
settings > adjust timeout settings > proxy harvester time out 45
settings > adjust multi thread harvester > 3
options > use new proxy harvester > do not check mark it.

maybe next time if u have a problem contact the person you
bought from [ first ] not post about them with no defence
little unfair

ps i get 300+ passed google test in scrapebox everyday
twice a day if u say 0 work the problem is your end
and your my first complaint this year this thread is open for
any of my sign ups to reply 220 of them from mods/execs/vips/donors
none replied - ever wonder why?

i will agree with 1 thing , the ammount of proxies
passing google check in s/box has fallen from over
1.5k last year to 3-400 this year this is because everyone
is seraching for public proxies to scrape with.

the reason i disagree with using private proxies to scrape
with - if you have lots of money it doesnt matter but if u dont

Just do a little test and take 100000 keywords, use 10 privateproxies and start
harvesting. After a while SB will come to a grinding halt. Google blocked your proxies...
Eventually they will clear again but all this time you can't continue with your project..
 
proxygo It's not your proxies, any public proxie I try does this same thing? So how does that make you look bad? You do a fantastic job and I would pay again to have your services. sorry I said that, because no matter what pub proxies I try I get the same results.

Let me even go a stretch further in this thread, which in no way has proxygo paid me to say this:

His service can't be beat. Every single day I login for my new proxies and they are there... Even on the weekend when your all with your family or friends proxy go is hard getting us proxies... I've since fixed this issue and it was a client side issue not proxiego services so to clear his name of any objections you my have about his service... Thanks for you time.
 
Try harvesting with quotes. Seems to work better than the INURL: blah blah stuff. I've also found that Yahoo scrapes better than Google these days. Annoying since the only thing I use on SB anymore is the harvester and PR checker.
