Hey guys,
I am pretty good with SEO but not using tools to do the work. Im buying SB as soon as i understand some things. I know i need a VPS. I also know i can install the SB program on one computer only. Do i install on my VPS ? If so, what happens when i dont use that server anymore ? and need to reinstall on another one ? The VPS comes with one proxy i think. Can i use that one to harvest new proxies ? Yes, I am asking for a little hand holding here. Will you please lay out the steps for me to make this happen ? I know other stuff but am elementary in this area.
Thanks a lot!
Bobby

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... im feelin a chill up in here !!! ;)

buy vps
buy scrapebox
learn how to harvest proxies
or buy/rent proxy lists
buy private proxies to post (imo, if not be prepared for fustration)

if you junk your vps or you loose it or stop paying for it, reinstall scrapebox easily on another vps or computer once a month, you are allowed to xfer license 1x a month or pay $xx (i think 10bucks) for extra transfers past your first allowable monthly.

goto scrapeboxfaq.com
stay on scrapeboxfaq.com until you have read everything
watched every video
then watch the videos by loopline (also linked from scrapeboxfaq)

just get to watching, all the info is there
if you need more info, rewatch a video

it's really only about 2hours of videos i've rewatched them 2-3x on varying degrees, bought scrapebox in early july, just recently setup one vps, then bought another license setup another vps then upgraded one vps and i'm scraping/harvesting/posting 24/7.

and again, watch the videos, others will tell you use the search function, yea it's good but for a real great classroom, watch the videos, they practically hold your hand for you.

You don't NEED a vps, but most people would recommend it. You can transfer a license from one machine to another once a month.

As far as proxies go. You can use scrapebox to harvest proxies, however, these proxies are pretty good for scraping only. When commenting it's generally advised you get your own private proxies. Personally I bought a block of 10 from squid and they seem to be working fairly well.

There's an unofficial FAQ that probably answers most of your questions, just gsearch for scrapeboxfaq. It's made by loopline (who I understand is also a member here) and is a great place to start imo.

Buy it, for the price is well worth it. Does so much.

You do not *need* a VPS and in fact I'd recommend you start by using sbox on your local machine to get familiar with it before spending the dough on a VPS. Yes, running it on a VPS is awesome, but why not learn it on your local machine first?

The VPS comes with one proxy i think. Can i use that one to harvest new proxies ? Yes, I am asking for a little hand holding here. Will you please lay out the steps for me to make this happen ? I know other stuff but am elementary in this area.

Similiar theory on this answer - sbox can scrape proxies, and you can add scrape sources for them, which decreases the pool of abused proxies....for starters, I'd suggest using those proxies as you learn, and once you get up to speed a bit, then invest in good proxies.

Overall steps I recommend:
1 - Buy the program (duh)
2 - Watch loopline's videos and read some of the tutorial threads here on BHW
3 - Pick a few modules of the program you want to learn and use
4 - Find a target or set of targets (like sites you admin) and scrapebox them - great way to see how your work looks to users of sites and to admins of them
5 - blast the world with the modules you've learned :-)
6 - pick another few modules to learn next
7 - wash, rinse, and repeat

Good luck and peace - gregs.
