I don't know what the problem is but all of a sudden the google harvester is having horrible results. In a recent session it used twice the bandwidth of Yahoo harvester but returned 387 results to yahoos 4027. WTF?!? What's up with google?

I also keep getting this error at the end of the harvest just before it crashes:

Access violation at address 6F72746E. Read of address 6F72746E.

Any suggestions?

I'm getting loads of 302 errors from Google when harvesting.

Not sure whether it's the latest version of SB, or Google changes.

Either way, Sweetfunny usually fixes things pretty quick.

I hope so because I'm harvesting right now and yahoo has 8,445 results and google has 243. UGH!

Are you using proxies when you harvest / scrape?

Yes. Scraping right now... Yahoo: 10937 and still working. Google: 0

Yahoo BW: 7.9mb Google BW: 20.2mb.

This is seriously frustrating!

Seems like it might depend on your proxies that get blocked by g00gl3 that probably does a better job than y!. Do you use public proxies by chance, bro?

finding the exact same problem. im going to stop harvesting tonight and see how i sit tomorrow. ive been avoiding the private proxy problem for about a week now, but if this continues im not really going to have an option...

I am using public proxies. I have about 400 in the harvester (not harvested from scrapebox) so you'd think at least 1 might give me a few results!

So that might be the cause. I used sb in the morning and didn't find any specific issues with my private (paid..) proxies. HTH.

When I have the same problem I just abort then restart the harvester.I usualy get a lot better results on the first restart.

might check if you got some trojan mate...
got this error before & it was a proxy trojan

loaris trojan remover will show u if there some

just to let u know

Yes Google made changes and it took 5 minutes to fix and upload a new version.

Good thing the OP emailed me instead of making a thread moaning about it so i only discovered the problem 5 hours later when this popped up in my Google Alerts.

... oh wait.

Anyhow update to v1.14.62 which resolves this.

Thanks Sweetfunny for your fast response. But thanks most for your professional and respectful interaction with your customers. I can assure you that my unwillingness to post a support ticket first has nothing to do with the snarky and often downright rude responses I've gotten when I'm posted them in the past.

...oh wait.

Anyway, thanks for fixing it.

I'm still getting no results after update unless I use my private proxies. (vs proxies scraped from sb)

ideas?
