Hi, I am getting an error when I try to extract links and broken links from high ranking sites on scrapebox. What is the problem and is there a solution?

Can you share the error and a bit of the configuration you might not be sure of?

You'll have to be a bit more specific.

As noted above, what is the error?

We need more info or we can't help you. Screenshots welcome also.

I was looking to extract internal links from websites such as fortune or huffingtonpost but when I run the extractor I get error in the status and 0 links returned. I have 12 proxies and I’m not sure if they are allowing me to scrape there sites.

Which error? What does it say? Did you try switching off proxies, and watch what happens? (You won't get your IP banned after just a few hits)

I put in a whole list and some sites return completed while others give an error. Do some sites not allow one to scrape from them?

There is no such thing in tech world. A request is a request is a request. Of course, indeed, some sites might refuse your proxies. That means you have bad (cheap?) proxies.
If you see some results on some sites, obviously the scrape process is working.
(There are of course sites that are built with heavy use of AJAX, then a standard scraper is going to give you a minimal result. But it should still not err out.)

I have free proxies, which may be the problem and 20 connections. I would like to increase success rate I will try one site with no proxy.

Yeah as noted above by Start Earning, don't use free proxies. Just set connection to 2 and don't use any proxies. It will go faster then you think. Also randomize the domains, there is a setting for that, randomize before you start scraping. If you have only a few domains 2 connection is good, if you have many domains you can go higher on connections.
