So you are saying that the method I'm trying to find my backlink with is incorrect?
So what you are saying is ... as long as I'm using anchor text I would be unable to see whether the backlink was indexed (through site:www.domain.com) because the actual money site is not in plain text?
Correct, searching for the URL when the URL is not printed on the pages is not going to work only the anchor text is printed on the page and will be searchable.
Here is about 7 million anchor text links built with ScrapeBox that Google knows about and this is only a tiny fraction of all the links built using ScrapeBox, the total number would be in the hundreds of millions. http://i50.tinypic.com/rk0da8.png
