Hey,

I've been using ScrapeBox for quite some time now, so I experienced many different updates.

But every time I set it to scrape over a few hours, it says an unexpected problem had occurred when I check it's status after a while.

First I thought the problem was that my computer might not be powerful enough, but it actually is powerful and my internet speed is the fastest you can get here..

So now I have a VPS with SB on it.

It still crashes every time!

I can run SEnuke X along with Xrumer with no problems at all. But poor little SB always crashes..

Anyone here who has the same problem, or some who can help me with this?

Greetings Swiss,

Are you using the multi-threaded harvester? There are times when the single thread harvester can crash.

What type of keywords (English or foreign language) are your scrapping and from which search engines?

I'm using the multi threaded harvester.

English keywords, from Google, Yahoo an AOL. :)

Odd indeed. Personally, I skip Yahoo & AOL harvests as 90% of the results will be duplicate domains from Google.

Are you using public or private proxies for your scrapping? Public proxies can become banned/unusable very quickly and will cause SB to stop harvesting (rarely crash).

Yeah maybe I should try scraping only from Google, you're right with the dups.

Only public for scraping, I use A LOT, so even the banning would be weird, not to mention SB crashing.

It's becoming a large problem for me too. You should have bought a dedicated server instead of VPS.

I'm having similar problem, but with SB crashing when sending trackbacks. I've noticed a lot of trojans and iframe injections lately, so that could be part of the reason. I've changed my antivirus to enod and will give it a workout now and see...

Harvest from Google only. I find when I harvest from more than 1 source it crashes.

Any kind of more descriptive error codes? I harvest millions of urls in a run and I have run it up to 180 million urls in 1 harvest. I hammer scrapebox all day every day on multiple servers with no issues.

If you turn your connections way down what happens?

How about if you turn off the multi threaded harvester under settings?

Any more specific info or test you can do can help. The for sure thing is its not a short coming of scrapebox, as I have 10 licenses and no issues. So its something such as your machine/OS/Anti-virus etc... in conjuction with what you are doing.

As far as I can remember it said something with "unexpected error" in it.

I will try it with said setting now and report back. It usually crashes after a few hours though.

Thanks.
